    I honestly don't understand one thing about solar cells. When will they work?
    I swear, I've read between 2-3 stories per month for the last 5 years on how someone has revolutionized the process of producing solar cells, at a fraction of the cost it was last week...
    By this point, I should be able to pick up a 2 by 4 ft. panel from the side of the street by the peaches stands.

    I've seen too many episodes of House. I can just see it now... Wilson at home or in his office, ticked off because House has somehow let mosquitos into the office, but chewing him out for something else entirely. Just as he's about to go off on another tangent, Wilson says, "Die, you malaria-spreading bitch!" (because we know only female mosquitos bite) all of a sudden, House will remember this article, get that weird vacant, distant look on his face, and leave the room. Wilson will kill another mosquito.

    I think a court has already precedented that. Withholding doesn't hold up to 5th amendment protection. I believe it was likened to not divulging the combination to a safe.

    All rare earth magnets are that way. They are especially concerned about them being swallowed separately or coming apart.... The problem being if they are in different stages of your intestines, they will attract each other and either stay right where they are, blocking flow of blood or other stuff, or maybe even wear right through the walls and make holes. Pretty nasty situation either way.

    roll your eyes and mock all you want, but don't forget that a lot of these guys had Top Secret SCI clearances they don't exactly hand out to every random Jethro.
    There was a Disclosure Project event at the National Press Club in early 2001 that had well over a hundred witnesses that were pilots, former military officers, etc... that were willing to break their oaths and testify in front of congress if called about these events.
    Some people think 9/11 was a reaction/distraction. I'm NOT going that far, but it still makes me wonder.

    Security at the airport should have taken his bag over to the side so nobody could see it. Then, after their coffee break, after Steve found them, he could have yelled over to one of them, "How's my bag search coming along?" Eventually, one of them might or might not have answered him.
    Sooner or later, he'd get word that his bag might not be making it onto the plane.
    "But, why?" Steve would ask.
    "Well, there's a security problem, but I can't tell you much more than that."
    Again, Steve would fire off another inquiry. "Hey, am I going to get my bag approved today?"
    "No. It duplicates existing bags we've already processed, you see... There's a secret process to getting these bags approved, you know. Err. No. Wait. You don't know. That's why it's secret."

    Ok, the joke is stale now. Have I killed it fully?

    "The same could be said of Macs. Part of what made Steam viable on the Mac was Valve porting a number of their games over to the Mac. And they could do it again for Linux if they wanted to..."

    I play on a fairly recent iMac... Team Fortress 2 is gorgeous on the Windows 7 side, but when I reboot from that, into Mac OS X version, the difference is still quite clear, even with the recent updates. Also, the microphone tends to fail after 3-5 minutes of use.

    So essentially... they have enough to worry about as it is...

    My prediction is that on Coast to Coast AM, "science advisor" Richard C. Hoa(x | g)land will be on the air and commenting that since this was a NASA administrator, they were all getting together to discuss a disclosure about ET's or artifacts on The Mars or Moon. They were done away with by the secret people, and we should all demand answers, so forth, so on, etc...
