Same with the L1's and other areas. Have an indefinite moratorium on the practice on the condition that it can only return in a more regulated, transparent, citizen-friendly format.

1: Cancel all H1/L1 programs indefinitely, but with a condition that they return at some point in a more regulated form.
2: Reclassify transplant manufacturers as import manufacturers of that particular nation and tax accordingly.
3: Zero taxes on businesses that would comply with a strengthened "Patriot Business" standard. That is, loopholes would be removed.
4: Domestic preference for education and funding thereof at all levels.
5: Put a moratorium on new fuel taxes or changes that effect an increase of any kind.
6: Revert all of the environmental standards for vehicles to 1980's standards.
It's enough that they can't do affordable performance (read: more than an I-4 in a car that is under $20k new and isn't a compact) - this makes the Smartcar look huge.

The other problem with a nanocar - you don't scrape the ice off of it - it's already coated the whole car.
Given that Lenovo has been forced away from AFFS/IPS, how about using some of that clout to move to something that's a lot better than TN and putting that into a laptop? Not RGBLED, not OLED, but something comparable to what Lenovo had with Flexview?
Of course, cooling's fine, but it's not as if you can just find whatever panel will fit of your choosing and put it on there.
Then by all means leave the authentication code be a platform independent black box; let the network code go open. That way open servers don't need to be hobbled by having platform-dependent net code.
Besides, it's not as if one couldn't intercept the calls they may be making to generate it and feed them easily manipulated data.
One more reason to go to a model that only puts the authentication modules in a "black box" and made server-side as much as possible. If their netcode is that bad that they have to put it in a DLL black box, then you've got an oracle in the making.

This excludes any dependencies and our net modules for both the client and server: these are still covered under our proprietary license. These modules have been excluded because of reasons involving security and cheating, but contain only a minimal amount of code.

This tactic can be quite entertaining if, for example, an impatient bozo in a SUV comes up behind you while you're coasting, honks, pulls around you and speeds ahead only to stop at the light, and then you smoke him as you coast through the light just as it turns green.
Of course, that presumes nobody is in your lane or theirs, and they don't switch. Then you have to stop.
