he had inserted the network cable in the cd-rom drive
I had much the same thing happened to me, except that it was my own wife calling me at work to tell me the digital camera wasn't working. After asking if she had plugged it into the USB hub I sitting on top of my wireless router, she got a little irritated with me, saying she knows how to plug a USB cable in. Long story short, when I got home I found the USB cable shoved into a port on the router. Being a little smarter than I was when first married, I said nothing.
I remember my 1st Voodo 1 card, with a whooping 4 megs of video ram. The card was a pass-through where you had a connector from the main vga port to the card, then from the card out to the huge 15inch screen I had.
From the article: 'The e-mail was written to look like an internal e-mail, including signature. It was addressed by name to the intended victim and not detected by the anti-virus software.'"
In reading the summery it appears that the e-mail comes from someone in the corporate network. If I received an e-mail that looked like it came from my boss, with an attachment I most likely would open it with no thought that it wasn't from her.
Maybe. But then again, you'd just be sitting on your hands waiting for the off chance that you are right.
Good point. The only reason I would wait would be for the price to come down. Of course the only way that will happen, will be for a better chip release, so I will then wait for that price to come down again. If I need that much cpu power, I need it now and won't mind paying the premium price.
However, at this stage in my life I can't aford the latest and greatest chip, so I buy the last year's (or 2 years ago) model. Since my computer is used for personal used only, I can get away with it. Sure I could get that family video rendered 5 min. faster with the new chip, but the mortgage and the kids schooling comes first.
I agree, kind of. The lighting looks good, but it does make it a tougher game, which is why I turn it off when playing CS:S. I figure that turning it off isn't cheating unless everyone else had it turned on, and I was the only one with it off.
What this game needs is some mercenaries that bards like you can hire to be a body guard for you. If you are role playing a bard, then it makes sense that a bard is not able to fight very well. The option to create a character that can't fight, but has enough earning power to buy the best bodyguards would be great.
This article was really lacking in details. No link to the mod's website, no mention of what tools they are using. Is it a doom3 mod, a source mod, an unreal3 mod? No one knows from reading the article.
Don't forget the blue eye shadow. At least it isn't Kent.
This is actually quite commom. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Highway_hypnosis

but it costs more that way...
That and the fact that it won't be pretty when Buba and his backhoe hit 50,000 volts because he can't read the sign telling him not to dig.
I hate it when I see a great deal, then find out the seller is charging $45 to ship.
I'm putting off buying the new Star Wars box set until a re-release in a higher definition format.
You mean the version where neither Han, nor Greedo shoot and have a tickle fight instead?

+5 Funny? You fail it. ;)
Darn it, I'm changing my pasword back to 1-2-3-4-5.
I better unplug that USB drive I found this morning.
It sounds like Guild Wars would be perfect for you.

Peer to Peer financing has been around for decades. It is called a Credit Union.
The real crime would be not backing up something as important as your graduate thesis.
I remember overclocking my AMD Thunderbird with a mechanical pencil.
Does that mean it has to have a lime green color scheme?
Must have been the game "Sopwith."

That is funny because the first hard drive I ever bought was a 60MB drive as well. I though I would never fill it.

The biggest problem with The Gimp is the name. It is really hard to sell your boss on a program with this name.

Hey it worked for AT&T. It only took 20 years to put it back together again.
Ok, I should feed the troll, but since when was Okalahoma considered the South?
