This is only a good idea if you are moving a small amount of stuff, or you have a large truck with a big enough engine to handle the load. Moving cross country isn't a small trip, and the last thing I would want is to break down on 80 somewhere in the middle of Utah because the engine couldn't handle the stress.

I agree with you. Google must define what "evil" is. What I consider "evil" may not be the same as what you consider "evil." For example I could say "The United States is evil." Now you may strongly agree with that statement, or strongly disagree depending on your current political views and/or geographic location.

I disagree. A Ford Escort can get up to speeds that are fatal too. Of course the Mercedes will get to that speed a whole lot quicker. Young drivers are prone to race and drive recklessly regardless if they are driving a high power sports car or a Honda Civic.

This happens at the doctor all the time. They will move people from the waiting room into an empty examination room, just so the person has the perception of something happening.

I bet you never do this to your own kids (if and when you have them). I consider myself blessed that my own father was much more understanding about my computer time growing up.

Our first computer was an IBM XT that must have cost him an arm and a leg. He spent the time to teach me how to use the computer, and allowed me and my brothers to use it as much as we wanted to. Of course we had to learn to share with each other, and the taking away of computer privledges was a punishment worse than any spanking.

I am trying to model this with my own daughters. I teach them how to use the machine, and I only take away the computer when they start fighting over it, or as a punishment for other infractions.
