    That they sent a couple of bit.ly links that got clicked on a couple of times isn't surprising. The source claiming it's all the Russians is the same NSA source that perjured himself in front of congress.

    Podesta uses the same password across every service he's on, and didn't even start changing it once his emails started pouring to the public by the thousands. It was likely exposed by a dozen other hacks.

    I've spent about half of my life in Texas. I've lived in Houston, Dallas, and Austin. I've also lived in Silicon Valley, Seattle, and Southern California.

    Every conversation about living in Texas I've had with a West Coaster:
    "How can you stand living in Texas. Everyone is so bigoted and prejudicial?"
    "Oh really, have you ever been there?"
    "No."
    "..."

    Constantly.

    They murder people not just for informing on them, but for having the audacity of taking charity hand outs, farm equipment, and the like. They want to completely cut off the civilian populace from any positive contact with the Americans, and they're willing to murder anyone who crosses the line - all so they can show that the Americans cannot protect them.

    You can now undock with PLEX. The player didn't buy them with real money - he was the direction of an alliance and was using the alliance's pocketbooks for a "get rich quick" market speculation.

    Of course, undocking with an active wardec going on with hostiles present in the local system and no defenses are chance at getting out...

    The vast majority of what they sell at amazon's prices are used books. For their new books they aren't really cheaper than any other brick and mortar store.

    China is already involved in copper mining in Afghanistan, but its policy is non-interference cash and carry.

    Of course, it's able to do so because there's US troops there defending their miners.

    Exactly. Because looking at the areas where the population density is almost nothing in the US (like the desert) is totally comparable to the 24 million people in that very small area.

    Okay for knowing whether or not it will snow, but how often are you caring what temperature water is going to boil relative to the current temperature outside?

    Fahrenheit maps the normal range of temperatures for the area it was created:
    0 - As cold as it normally ever gets
    100 - As hot as it normally ever gets

    He must be a very old teacher. NH passed the world's first property tax. Back in 1742. Notably it's also the only major tax the state has.

    Because there's no real money in the PC side of things for games that aren't called World of Warcraft. Most games are targeted toward the consoles which won't be advancing for a few more years. The ones that aren't are aimed at the mass market with the lowest common denominator hardware.

    Because our primary method of detecting a planet right now involves looking at its gravitational effect on the star, and planets that have a lot of mass, are near to their star, and go quickly cause the greatest fluctuation in gravitational force.

    Not only that, but any new plant built will have far better environmental efficiency than the decades-only plants that they're replacing. Opening up the new plants would relegate the old ones all but disabled except during absolute peak times (brownouts, anyone)?

    All they're accomplishing is keeping the obsolete pollution-spewing plants operating at full capacity practically non-stop.
