Yeah, but I was talking more along the lines of a built-in memo pad/to do list inside your cellphone that you can enter text into. In situations where I REALLY need to remember something, I always drag out the To Do list in my x105 and set it to an alert for later, incase I forget.
That "include firewall" you're talking about sucks ass. I don't even recommend firewall at all, but if someone just has to have it, Norton Personal Firewall would be your best bet.
Well, wouldn't you think that before, since he was the legal father, that he wouldn't have to pay it... the kid stayed with him. But now, after the divorce, he would start to pay it? Haha..
Seriously. If people start to turn against Linus Torvalds for this, then they obviously do not know how business works. So what if he used other's code? At least it was free when he took it, instead of having to directly buy everything to improve the OS. Also, compared to Windows, Linux is still a hell of a lot better (of course) -- so essentially the same in creation, I say we just leave the race alone and let it sit out. Windows will eventually fall...
Oh, but a stranger can. After all, they are never who they say they are going to be... so in turns, you never actually know them. Meets the definition of a stranger, eh?
"Only a matter of time before the RIAA requests a data dump from the ISPs or just sues everyone using their network."
Even then, do you think they are going to give up that information without a fair right? Hell no. They have never done it before and I don't think they ever will. Personally, I think it's more of a power issue. ISPs want to be in charge -- being that big of a company, who wants some little bitch asses bossing you around? Put yourself in Comcast's situation when some little fuck throws a subpoena at you because of one member...
And just for that one reason alone, it won't tackle the GBA in the handheld gaming market. Even though the GBA may cannot stand up against it performance wise, it's portability makes it a more fun piece of equipment to have.
I'm not sure where I stand in the debate, but honestly, I make backup copies of my DVDs. I don't really give a shit who is going to tell me not to, who doesn't like it, or how illegal it is... it's my DVDs... I paid for all of them. And if I wanted to start a movie collection on my computer, what would be the difference in having it on disk and on my PC? So what if I have two copies of it? I don't want to have to change the disks out when I want to go through movies. It's like backing up music and storing MP3s on your computer... Screw you MPAA if you don't like my morals. You didn't make the movies I'm copying.
Well, sometimes it's hard to act smart when you're stupid. But it's different the other way around. I'm a pretty intelligent individual, but when it comes to going out with friends and such, I can act like a moron. But everyone knows me for who I really am though, as I do not want people to actually think I am dumb.
Nothing. AGP video cards are still running ahead in the video card preformance race. Which goes to make you think... two PCI video cards would be simply awesome, but what about two AGP video cards? How much better would two less powerful PCIs be than one powerful AGP? Just something to think about while reading this...
Yeah man. As much as I really want it to be that, I really doubt it will be. But on the other hand, we might see the return of the GameGear or something similar?
I have another: Who dubbed this thing a Trojan Horse? Trojan Horses do not wipe out Home folders... they only sit dormant and collect information. I think it was a virus that this guy downloaded, not a Trojan.
The world is one sided. I can safely say that, because I am also. In this case though, I'm more of a GNOME person... even though I really do like KDE now. For example: I used to look forward to Halo 2, Half-Life 2, and Doom 3 to come out... but since the fanboys started comparing Halo 2 to HL2 and Doom 3, I took my side and started bashing the game. Heh, besides, it looks like shit.
But yeah, I would be pretty hard on a KDE review since I'm a GNOME person. I think we should actually consider looking at more than one review (common sense) on this new version of GNOME instead of taking this guy's word for it... no matter how smart he is. A pair of fresh eyes makes the world a better place.
I don't see what the problem is. The only difference is the obvious and the price. Wow, because software costs money, it makes it a lot more secure than something free? Bullshit. I think they should take their time and find out what software works best and then use that, instead of complaining about it being open-source or closed-source. When they do find more stable open-source software, they can pay money for it if it'll make them feel better...
Yeah man, stores throw away most of the junk that is returned to them. I have friends and relatives that work at major stores around here that bring home some nice shit. Of course they won't throw away televisions and computers, but DVD players, cellphones, digital cameras, etc... they just give to employees and mark as damaged on their list.
Wow. idSoftware is actually giving us a semi-release date! Not that it bothers me that they don't, I'm just surprised. That seems to be more of a John Romero move... but he's no longer around, haha.
If you remember from awhile ago, John Carmack had the attitude of "It'll come out when it's done." and still even to this day, he maintains it. John Carmack is a God.
Didn't hear the news, eh? Apple banned FairPlay. There will be no more "responding with new versions" of it simply because it's no longer around in the US legally.
It's going to be pretty hard to maintain its power with the size of the GBA SP. I think it's a great idea though. It's like laptops. You have your heavier laptops that come with a lot of processing power and memory and you have your smaller, portable ones which have long lasting battery life and are very light weight.
Answer to your question: Get an SP for portability and a DS for true portable power. Nintendo all the way!

Or... you could just use your cellphone. Oh, but that's a computer, now isn't it? o_O
That "include firewall" you're talking about sucks ass. I don't even recommend firewall at all, but if someone just has to have it, Norton Personal Firewall would be your best bet.
Yeah, if only it was that easy. Heh, and ATI wouldn't need to make an MXM video card; their mobile Radeons are awesome!. It'd just be a waste of time.

Baseball bats? Gah, how old are they!? They should bring crowbars and chainsaws like a true nerd...!

All I have to say is... Sega for life!

That... wouldn't hurt Microsoft. Taking it back in exchange for your money, then the store throwing it away would though.
Yeah, and as long as they don't specifically film me and my girlfriend walking around... I'll be fine...

Yeah, despite how ugly it is, it does actually match the Apache scheme though. The feather is this shade of purple... what other color should it be?
