Don't be afraid everything works fine and is just a little more organized; WMP11 works fine does not DRM my mp3's/video and the ripping/burning works fine on the program. Media Player Classic and all my other video/DVD/CD ripping software works fine like before.

It is a small minority of people who are ripping the DVD's for their personal pleasure; the other majority do not care and the tech elite will go on to find another way to rip it if anything does happen.
Oh yah just use a legitimate copy also.

Windows does not need the Mac OS X market like the Apple needs Windows users to keep its Ipod successful; they can use them but they can gamble better on that they will end up with that consumber buying a Windows pre-loaded computer.

Whole DRM issue the vast majority of consumers who buy it just do not care. I would try the product first before doubting it; see what you can do with your existing library of mp3's because WMP11 does not seem to interfere with my old collection of MP3s/Videos/etc and I can still copy it wherever like before.

WoW on Linux? Didn't the common sense come out in an article awhile ago that it is better to not risk the unsupported OS; sorry to the minority but they want to keep things simple.

Thank you for mentioning eating but I get out to meet lots of people who have some of the widest variety of activities to do than any other person I have meet in another country in the world; maybe because of our climate and geographical location.

You would be surprised if you lived in Southern California at how many people go to the gym, run in the morning, hundreds of bike riders on P.C.H. or are out there with me surfing/swimming in the morning; theres stuff to do at night besides stay at home watching T.V. like going out to the bar to meet a girl or going to see a concert.

Not really the strongest launch I thought Wii was gonna bigger and by that time the new batch of PS3's will be shipped with the new games and T.V. commercials for the PS3 being released.

Now I live in Southern California with a huge population and luckily moved my family to a more upscale neighborhood luckily; we are on of the few small communities to get FIOS but I just do not see anybody praising it around here at any school events, when at the kids baseball games or at the adult softball league games. It changes region to region that I have moved to during my construction job; but what I am getting to is the Supply and Demand and how nobody demands more speed.

FIOS around here is now going to try and compete with this new technology with Time Warners deal on the Triple Play Package(phone, broadband,TV) for very cheap($100 month)

Nvidia Geforce TI4200 64/ also ran on AIW 9800 Pro 128
512 MB/ I added 512MB more and seems to help a lot more with the games and heavy applications.

Hell I threw in my Nvidia Riva TNT2 64MB and it still ran it pretty fine; mind it I turned off some of the shadows and other stuff but kept the visual theme of Vista it ran fine. Just the loading process in the beginning is really the difference you will notice between a system like mine and one some guy pays $5000 for.

Games, Non-DRM music/video all play fine in Media Player Classic, I can still control the other 3 desktops in our home and things still work like in XP with a few more easily navigatible additions.
ATI/Nvidia both just released some offical RC2 drivers.
Additionally they just released the upgrade prices if you originally owned Windows XP and it is not that expensive for home users to upgrade.
Personally I don't mind spending $79 to upgrade one of our XP Home to Vista Home.

Windows Vista just went RTM today also.

The exact same thing goes for Vista; ATI had offical drivers for awhile and Nvidia just recently released drivers for Vista. All my old games work and sometimes they run even faster; including WoW, BF2, BF2142, WC3, CS and almost everyone you can think of.
All my original stuff works in Vista just like XP and my X800 GTO runs everything fine.

With WMP11 it starts up faster and is not so intrusive with some of the selections.

They just want it to work and recently just started getting into tab browsing and they like it to organize their MySpace to see where the parties are at on the peoples bulletin board.

Worse is when I tried to check the swell for the surf in the morning at Surfline.com it craps out when viewing the webcam sometimes. I grew up with the owner's son of surfline.com and he handles the email from people; he said he has gotten a few notices about it not working in FF and it is not enough to bother him.
