Not really. I know an old retired couple who has stayed with AOL for nearly five years now. Why? Because it's all they need. As long as they can chat with their grandchildren and check their e-mail, maybe even play a few games of Slingo, they're happy.
No, it does keep minorities out of winning anything. If Barack Obama were to run as a third-party candidate, even with his strong following with the African American community, and in many whites' minds, it wouldn't do much, as he would carry very few states and likely receive no electoral votes.
The saddest part is, nothing's gonna change anytime soon. The same people that boycott Nike and Walmart won't buy, but nobody else will give a damn.
