    This old 1929 bridge in Colorado still has the Fench bridge beat, as do a few others.

    I have the full up Photoshop 7 and Photoshop Elements II so have not tried book, but friends who have swear by it.

    Most digital cameras are somewhat sensitive to IR. On some it is filtered out.

    Take a look at you TV remotes LED though the viewfinder and a digital camera. Chances are you will be able to see the remotes LED light up.

    Lindows set out to make Linux act more like Windows so it would sell the the masses.

    Good news is that they were partly succesfull with the software.

    Bad news is that they were partly succesful with the way their company operates.

    Quite a few. People who understand their own cars well enough to modify and repair them tend to have the curiosity and intelligence to learn about other systems as well.

    The most common form of communications between automotive enthusiasts are online forums, newsgroups and mail lists. I haven't taken a survey, but the use of Linux by members of those groups seems to be at least as high as it is in the general computer user population.

    If you are on line much and use Linux, it is hard to not know about SCO

    Sadly, for a large share of the US population, the sites that agree with their preconcieved notions will be the better trusted ones.
