Are you speculating that there is no such thing as a Higgs boson? Maybe the field that produces mass can only be identified by what it has produced. Maybe this field has a fundemental structure that can only be assumed. Every object that was thought to be fundemental was eventually found to be made up of three other separate parts i.e atoms, quarks, neutrinos. Maybe you just need to hear this from Schrodinger's cat. The search for the Higgs seems to be redundant at this stage in the game.

Measuring anomalies in the fabric of space-time with equipment that passes through space-time without measurable decay is a redundant practice. On our planet warmer water moves to the poles ( Quantum Information on a sphere in space moves to the poles). Its all fine and dandy until the arctic ocean fills with warm water and starts to evaporate into clouds. If the arctic is ice free in the winter the northern hemisphere will be measuring snow depth in kilometers instead of inches. Prior glacial maximums could have been caused by our planet moving through a dust cloud.

I have a model that works for gravity. Take some algae and put it in a sealed glass jar. Spin the jar every couple days and keep it out of direct sunlight. In a few months you will start to see bubbles forming on the algae or the algae floating on top of the water. It will rise to the top of the water and then fall back to the bottom and stay there for a couple weeks and then pop back to the surface again. if you chart this you will see that it rises on full and new moons. So can the algae feel the fabric of space time bending?????

I base that on my personal observations of the arctic air mass and how gravity and sea surface temperatures affect the movement of the upper atmosphere over the poles. It does not take that much energy to displace the arctic air mass .It always moves in the direction of least resistance . The weather we are having at this moment over North America is due to a mass of warm air that entered the arctic from the pacific and split the arctic upper atmosphere in half . I saw this same event last year for the first time. There is evidence that warm water is pulsing into the arctic and if it does not stop the arctic ocean may eventually stay ice free. There are core samples from the atlantic that suggest that the arctic was flushed out before.
