Too DUMB? Too ignorant maybe, but it's just useless ego-fluffing to think that everyone "else" is too dumb.
Which agriculture bills affect the farming in your state? What about the changes to big-business finance? How will those affect home financing for persons in the (whatever type of housing you don't own/rent)?
Expecting all voters to be informed about everything is just plain silly. That's why those concerned and informed have to voice their opinions to both the legislature, and the populace. Otherwise, lobbyists will rule. (I mean more then they do.)
I've purchased (online where I can get them cheap) a large number of cases. I rip/copy everything to the fileserver I finally finished (yay!) and then stick the original in the shelf with its friends.
My life is slowly becoming more sane (although there is the little matter of sorting the terrabyte of data that I've collected up till now), and no worries about the original media!
It's not the programmers that need to wake up, it's the publishers.
But yes, no-cd patches are my favorite thing.
Barring that, I make a virtual image of the CD. (Apparently, having only a firewire dvd drive and no internal drives confuses just about every CD copy protection with the bonus of being easy to reach.)
Isn't month-by-month analysis self-defeating? I mean really, some months there just aren't many new games worth buying. I'd be very surprised if there WEREN'T monthly fluctuations.
Given that much art found in museums is old enough to be public domain, your suggestion sounds like an excellent idea for getting some classics in my home.
Of course, there would be the spread of culture that you'd have to live with, but it's a small price to pay for making the apartment look nice.
BTW This is not meant as a "stop whining and do this other thing" answer. This is a "thank goodness the web is readable again" sanity stop-gap measure.
I ask because there are whole sites ( http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ ) that provide many more examples along with compatibility information. There are also huge sites with tutorials about developing your own scripts.
So why choose this seemingly random PAGE that offers (as far as I can tell) nothing new?
Absolutely. The whole WORLD is black and white. It's either great or horrible. Nothing in between.

I thought they just had a bidding auction with Diebold.
=(
I think most downloads are happening on PCs rather then on the console itself.
Exactly what I was going to post.

Why would AL GORE be an embarassment to scientists NOT in the U.S.? If they don't agree, they just point and say "silly Americans!".

On my machine anyway, foxit pdf reader slows to an absolute CRAWL in some PDFs.

Remove everything but the movie. No more unskippable. No more hassle.
Which makes a marked contrast to the creationist-flamers who sit around and fling poo at the creationists.
DVD drive with higher capactity.

Ability to download / run old "classic" titles.
Well, these ARE politicians we're talking about.
What else do you call someone who sells his soul?
I've played tennis for 4 hours at a time whimp. :)
Taco has pretty much requested that the designers keep the existing deficiencies.
I think we can worry about fixing CSS bugs after we find a look we like.
Use the minimum font size setting in firefox.

Their incentive is the ability to change to another word processor they like in the future without losing all their documents.
There are topless males in the game. By applying the MALE texture to the FEMALE model, you get boobies. Sort of.

"I would love to see some game makers stop using the ESRB all-together."
Bad idea. We have the ESRB to stave off the government from creating their own regulatory body.
Game should be rated M anyway -- it's got a lot of gore in it.
We call ourselves a democracy? Where would that be?
"And to the REPUBLIC for which it stands,"
I'm pretty sure democracy isn't used anywhere except by people who don't understand what that actually means.
Actually, it seems that pretty much ANY jedi can sense another jedi's strength. Why not just have Yoda et al say "hey! This one's teh strong!".
