    Too DUMB? Too ignorant maybe, but it's just useless ego-fluffing to think that everyone "else" is too dumb.

    Which agriculture bills affect the farming in your state? What about the changes to big-business finance? How will those affect home financing for persons in the (whatever type of housing you don't own/rent)?

    Expecting all voters to be informed about everything is just plain silly. That's why those concerned and informed have to voice their opinions to both the legislature, and the populace. Otherwise, lobbyists will rule. (I mean more then they do.)

    I think most downloads are happening on PCs rather then on the console itself.

    Exactly what I was going to post.

    I've purchased (online where I can get them cheap) a large number of cases. I rip/copy everything to the fileserver I finally finished (yay!) and then stick the original in the shelf with its friends.

    My life is slowly becoming more sane (although there is the little matter of sorting the terrabyte of data that I've collected up till now), and no worries about the original media!

    It's not the programmers that need to wake up, it's the publishers.

    But yes, no-cd patches are my favorite thing.

    Barring that, I make a virtual image of the CD. (Apparently, having only a firewire dvd drive and no internal drives confuses just about every CD copy protection with the bonus of being easy to reach.)

    Isn't month-by-month analysis self-defeating? I mean really, some months there just aren't many new games worth buying.
    I'd be very surprised if there WEREN'T monthly fluctuations.

    Given that much art found in museums is old enough to be public domain, your suggestion sounds like an excellent idea for getting some classics in my home.

    Of course, there would be the spread of culture that you'd have to live with, but it's a small price to pay for making the apartment look nice.

    I ask because there are whole sites ( http://www.dynamicdrive.com/ ) that provide many more examples along with compatibility information. There are also huge sites with tutorials about developing your own scripts.

    So why choose this seemingly random PAGE that offers (as far as I can tell) nothing new?

    Bad idea. We have the ESRB to stave off the government from creating their own regulatory body.

    Game should be rated M anyway -- it's got a lot of gore in it.
