    I stopped by the Apple Store and here's my 2 cents: They had a 20 inch iMac G5 running the video demo and it was noticably loud. I couldn't hear a thing on it's little brother, which was running only Finder at the time.

    Pardon me for being somewhat off-topic. I use/love firefox, but on slashdot I get some weird column overlapping every once in a while and have to hit reload to 'get it right.' Any slashdotters out there have this problem , and possibly know a fix on this?

    That right clickable mouse is, well, righteous. I could not agree more with the parent post. I love Apple, but not including a two button mouse is being just plain stubborn.

    I was at that very game and witnessed the post-game event. The best part about it was how the 'authorities' were surprised by the crowd's intensity; lots of people tearing up the turf, etc. Turned out that people really were tired of disco, but they didn't know they were so many other like-minded protesters. I can easily see something like you suggest having a major pop culture effect.

    Sitting down at a different keyboard can slow me down. However, on my own wave keyboard, with all its letters worn off and well-known key action, I'm fast enough. I can hardly bear to watch people a non-typist hunt and peck. Pathetic.

    I once worked with a graphic designer and whenever he needed to create a letter or invoice he opened Free Hand and used the programs type features. For him, it probably was faster... and I must say, every letter out of his dye-sub printer looked perfect.
