    I have to use Microsoft Windows at work and It is NOT easy to use. Having to right click to copy/paste is slow. Not being to able to copy paste two things at a time is even slower. Having to edit the registry to disable caps lock is stupid. Having to reboot to update is so 20th century. Not being able to delete, move or rename a file because an application is using it is ludicrous.

    Apple patented a camera that was embedded in the screen. I never heard anything about it since. I wonder if they started using them but never told anyone.

  9. You forget that the middle class wage is defined as 100K to 250K I believe. The median income in 2015 was 52K. Where I live in the US 52K is consisted a high wage. I assume that most of the middle class lives in urban areas.

    How could you not know that deciduous trees drop their leaves and hibernate during the winter? Being further North gives more sunlight for the trees during the summer when the trees have leaves. The only problem for the tree would be if the winter exceed its lower temperature limit.

  15. I switched to Mint, but recently Mate will no longer play well with multiple X sessions. I get one screen out of 3 with Mate now. I had to switch to Enlightenment but I prefer Mate. It may be because I am using the Debian edition of Mint. Mate wants to be a one screen DE as far as I can see.

    I never watch live TV. I use Mythtv to automatically skip commercials. I was watching TV with my mother and I couldn't believe how bad commercials have gotten.

    You have to buy a box? I use old parts to build Myth setups. You can get by with a 1 TB hard drive, and you don't need much processing power. The main reason to build a Myth box is for the automatic commercial skipping. Once it is built and setup it should run until the hard drive gives out.

    In a very few cases that is true. It creates a video that is only watchable ( in my opinion) on a mobile device.

    In the few cases that I watched (before I decided vertical video wasn't worth my time) a proper landscape video would have shown more of the action.

    What I can't stand is when news programs play vertical videos instead of telling the submitter that they were holding their camera wrong.

    If Google could find a way to stop people from making vertical videos the world would be a better place.

    I have already decided to never buy a car with one of those annoying screens mounted in the dashboard. Right now I have 2 2000 Fords. I will probably have to upgrade in 10 years or so but hopefully they will have aftermarket delete kits for the computer controlled HVAC by then.

    Toyota, I think the Camry was the worst had only a small number of different key cuts. If you owned all the keys you could get into and drive any car ( pre-chipped keys). I used to save keys from ever car we owned so if we got a free car with missing keys we might already have the right one.
