They don't sell that $999 tablet anymore either - it's $1099. Element cashes in on lies - they say that THEIR version of win4lin runs ALL Windows programs, and NeTraverse never released a joint press release with them. Sounds very fishy to me. Just a bunch of used car salesmen.
To top it off, they don't even seem to HAVE a public distro! No source code available, NOTHING. That's not what Linux is about.

Lindows has survived, but only on lies and untruths. Remember MSFreePC.com? Took money and EVAPORATED. Then they changed their name AGAIN. Lindoz, Lindows.com, Lin---s, Lindash, Linspire - they are just LINSIPID.
I hope someone can make use of all the money Robertson threw at WINE trying to make it work though. Linux will triumph despite all their used car salesmanship!

Not "if used in commercial work" or "free for individual use". They clearly didn't get his permission (or even ask for it) even though it was for use in a Flash movie.
If they have such a cavalier attitude towards ownership of something visible, what might they have done with something not quite as obvious?
Not only that, but the flash movies are ON THE CD. It is their introduction to the OS. Check out the CD. It's on EVERY SINGLE COPY of Lindows & Linspire CDs since at least 3.0. Now granted, they give it away...oh yeah, so they can get you to buy click-n-run. This is even WORSE! "Let's go steal artwork, not attribute the source, and then give it away as part of the OS so we can sell it."
