I don't know if it's completely true, but a few years ago I have also heard the story that many of the data tapes from those days cannot be read anymore, losing valuable data. The building plans of the Saturn V are also said to be gone. =(

Are you dumm??? :) You don't talk to girls about encoding!! Seriously ...

I have been invited over by different (and good looking too!) girls to their own place multiple times, because they wanted me to teach them something about (a) programming (language)!

    As long as you:

    a) don't _always_ talk about coding, and
    b) don't forget about your personal hygiene

That way it would be much easier to watch what they'll get to see, because next to sex there are also other things on the internet you don't want young children to see, and it'll be much easier to keep an watchful eye on the kids if they're 'playing in the same sandbox' so to speak.

It's a nice way to still have some form of use for older consumer electronics, andddd you can have your simple, basic phone without all the Java, camera, polyphone ringtone stuff.

    Very interesting read:

"The idea that you can have a fusion reactor on your tabletop for, say, $1,000 in materials and equipment, is disorienting. Maybe this explains why so many scientists prefer not to take it seriously." (Overview)
