    If he was running Vista Business then the XP downgrade would be free (but you have to get a VLPK yourself if you can, otherwise it's going to be a pain activating every machine). So I'm guessing this guy went cheap and bought Vista Home on consumer grade PCs for his business?

    whitelisting would be the nightmare that we are all fearing - think of it as the application of trusted computing and you'll see why. Imagine never being able to compile and distribute your own programs without the compliance of a major antivirus provider.

    The same way you can have computers around the world that are international business machines, but you can't call them IBM computers. RAID is a branding term as much as a redundancy system. If you're using something that's noticeably different, you need to say so.
