If we had a better cross-section of the American people serving in offices that are supposed to be a privilege to serve in we might actually have a government that isn't controlled by corporate lobbyists. Greed seems to take over every single person we elect once they get into office, until people stop being so greedy I am afraid we are all doomed.

This is exactly the type of extremism that turns me away from religion, and that applies to all forms of it. To threaten death, or other forms of punishment for saying something... I just have the feeling if God or Allah or whatever deity were to reveal them-self, or return to us or whatever they would probably be like: "WTF are you people doing?"

Just quit buying the sporting goods clothing, if they are spending tax dollars on this kind of shit just quit buying NFL apparel etc. I am a HUGE sports fan but I have decided I am done buying team clothing, for every sport. I don't need it to prove I like the team to anyone especially my friends and family, maybe I'll just start painting "Go Cubs" on hanes t-shirts myself and see if they can get me for counterfeiting their products. Insert cubs joke here... I've heard them all BTW.

If we suck the money out of these industries maybe they will beg for a bunch of repeals that make the industry more fair and opened to even small businesses that cannot bid on the high volume orders but could still cater to their local markets... perhaps? This bullshit is killing one thing and one thing alone, SMALL BUSINESSES! This country is always talking about how bad we need small businesses, well I have just given you one way to attempt to help small businesses. Stop buying their high volume mass produced product that is made in china and make your own t-shirts, hats, or just wear clothing with other shit on it.

  20. Re:Who still pays for antivirus? on Symantec Sued For Running Fake "Scareware" Scans · · Score: 1

I have worked on malware/virus removal for years now, and I can speak from experience that Norton and Mcafee have created more problems for my customers than they have prevented. They are the most well known brand on the market which makes them a easy target for the virus creators.

I have seen those two programs do anything as bizarre as causing a mouse to not work to multiple machines losing all internet access until removed. There is a reason they both make a removal tool for getting the antivirus software off of your computer, because they know their software gets FUBAR all the time and needs to be manually removed.

I run no AV on my system and keep my important data on both a second hard drive and an external drive. If I get a virus I reinstall windows because nowadays that is the only 100% sure way to ensure a windows computer has no infections. I also cannot stress enough the importance of windows updates, especially in the Vista/Win7 era.

    GOD BLESS COMBOFIX!
