The biggest problem I see with Wikipedia is academic honesty. That is, few edits are accompanied by references, and few of those edits are accompanied by paranthetical citations to show what the reference is a reference for. This is a basic writing 101 concept, yet few Wikipedia editors make use of it.
The liberatarian population of Slashdot has never been proven to be as big as the liberatarians cliam it is. Last I looked, a lot of us were in favor of the Green Party when David Cobb was interviewed by Slashdot.
Wikipedia should be somewhat useful in getting alternative views into the classroom that hadn't been covered in the past. Let's hope this weakens the anti-evolution and global warming denier crowd.

Or how about on the NES, where several 3rd parties got their start with some of their most beloved frachises? Keep in mind these games competed with Mario, Zelda, and Metroid, just like they do now - and those games are considered to be even better than their Gamecube decendents. You don't have to beat Nintendo to do good on their systems, you just have to make good games. If the 3rd parties made more games for the Gamecube, they'd make more money, just as they do on the PS2.
Actually, you're wrong. Atheism is not the lack of religion, it is the lack of belief in god(s). An atheist can still be religious (as in the case of some Buddhists). What atheism is, is a belief that one can have, whether you have religious beliefs or not.
