I looked at a couple of products about 2 years ago for a handful of private schools in Melbourne (Australia), half the products had been developed by teachers in their spare time for their specific school, someone else heard about it and they on sold it, and then thought to themselves hey wouldn't it be a good idea to do this full time rather than teach..."
Any man that chooses to be with a woman who is already either married/in a serious relationship when they start up should expect at some point it will happen again, with him getting dumped for the new flame. They may not have been "pussies" but they weren't being smart or didn't want a monogamous relationship. Cheaters aren't going to just up and change their behavior "just because it is you".
This statement is equally true if you switch the roles of the men and women in the statement.
I regularly see people posting achievement runs to MC/BWL/AQ40 in/trade on weekends. Give it a go, you might find more people interested in going that you expected.
It helps to have at least a few people who did it at level and know the fights. I know a guild group went through BWL a few months back and had issues getting past Chromaggnus becuase they didn't understand the mechanics. DKs are OP against Nef.
Based on the way they tune encounters for WoW, their threshold for decent latency seems to be sub 100ms, so Australian/Oceanic players will probably be on their proposed peer-to-peer network option all the time except for authenticating.
Suddenly a reason to gimp your ping for LAN parties.
As someone who is a fan of both DNA and Pterry, I would much rather Terry spent his time writing more Terry Pratchett books than trying to contort his imagination to fit inside someone else's universe.
Here in Melbourne, the transit authority published two really good iPhone apps, one which in cludes a trip planner and timetable app (Metlink) and one for checking when the next tram will arrive/how long to your stop (Tram Tracker). There was no need for a 3rd party tool because the 1st party tool was promptly available and worked well.
I'd self identify as a gamer (see my sig), I'm well out of my teens and then some, married with a mortgage and a career. I'd certainly agree that a gamer is a mindset, but I see it as something beyond playing video games. I play cards and board games with friends and family, I've played pen and paper roleplaying games for years and written or co-written over 20 tournament modules for RPG conventions, been a referee at convertions and a DTS for the Camarilla, written interactive games for museums, I play puzzle games on my iPhone on the way to work, I use the analytical skills I honed through gaming in my day to day work as an analyst.
Not all games are toys, not all time spent gaming is a waste, and depending on the type of game - it's probably a more productive way to spend time than sitting in front of the idiot box watching soaps or sport or 'reality' TV.
Or as I was taught in Architecture school: Concrete has a high compressive strength but poor tensile strength; conversely Steel has a high tensile strength but a poor compressive strength.
Rape is rarely about sex and usually about power, the power dynamic can be physical (force), emotional (don't tell your mother or else), monetary (I will give you money to feed your family) or other permutations.
There can be any number of reasons why a vicitim of rape does not feel capable of putting up a physical resistence to the act, but it doesn't make it any less a rape.
I found the secret to working with large documents in MS Word is the Save As command. You can reduce the file size by up to 75% with a Save As on a large file, especially if there has been lots of change tracking, cut and paste etc...
Any time I've worked with large files in MS Word have have used strict version control protocols and done a Save As at the end of each day's work to reduce the file size and to stabalise the document.
Clean use of styles can also reduce document clutter. Keeping the file cooperative longer.
It might also depend on *when* you call. The Apple Care reps in Australia used to have monthly quotas/budgets for free repairs/replacement machines, if you got them early in the budget period you were far more likely to get a good outcome than if you were late in the budget period.
Of course we all know that getting into Game Design is as easy as snapping your fingers, so these ethnic and gender minorities who are currently disenfrachised by the industry will find it trivial to get into aposition where they could affect decisions regarding gender and race of PCs and NPCs.
In case you missed it, yes, I was being sarcastic.
For us, it was the game Eternal Darkness, which had sanity effects which messed with you as a player as well as your character. For no rason what so ever you might hear someone knocking, or rain, your controller would suddenly reverse, or when you were saving a agame it would give the delete game screens. Even more awesome playing in surround sound for true paranoia inducing fun.

I can't wait for OSX Lolcat!!

Mendicant!

Alternately, they could have been referencing a medium sized string instrument...
Viola!
Sounds like Australia to me...
Hrm... I haven't done that quest yet, buti explains why Murloc make that strange gurgling scream and attack everytime you come in range of them.
On the other hand, I have done half a dozen scat based quests.
Or even - is DLC ruining Console Games?
I was thinking transparent like the Emperor's New Clothes... The cost model seems to work along the same lines.
Funny, WoW is about as far away from elitist as a computer game can get - it's one of the things people QQ about, pandering to the casuals.

I typeset an economics text book including full page integral matrices in MS Word 4 on a mac way back when (early 90's).
The most stable version of Word ever was 5.1a for Mac.
In recent years I have predominately used Word in a Windows environment, preferring to use a text editor and InDesign when on the Mac.

I have 20 something games under my belt from a design perspective - how about you?

I've always thought of myself as more of a geek than a nerd.
