I couldn't get on World of Warcraft for almost 3 weeks (inbetween two patches). I always got "World server is down" and other errors; I could just not use their servers anymore. I tried to notify this through their website, forum, everything I could try. I also lost stuff inbetween server restarts; stuff like 240g at a time; which the user also has to grind for and PAY EVEN MORE for because all that time is wasted, just because that piece of software decided to die at the wrong time (and wrong place).

They tell me they are not responsible and they will not return me the money or time which I was unable to play in; while this is an error caused by this company. I even wonder such business tactics are legal; if a webhosting company would disconnect me 3 weeks from the Internet with my sites I'd be crying havoc!

As a note: Blizzard removed the forum posts; they seemed not to like the fact that I have screenshots and "accountant" installed. They returned to their normal technical blahblah where you need to check proxy settings etc.. while the problem was *SURE* not the proxy/network or computer because it did not work on 2 computers at that time; AFTER the patch was installed. They seem to be in a defensive stance not being able to help their customers on a normal way; while I'm already Blizzard customer since their early games, Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo, ...

I feel screwed to say the least; I still wonder if this is legal (in Europe)...

    2. I am in a meeting while a delivery is scheduled later because more information is needed; I get a text to contact Mr. Person at +tel.eph.one asap about the delivery; my meeting has not been interrupted and I have been notified without being forgotten because I was unreachable at that time.

I used to have a Proximus subscription. In July about 12 years ago I received a bill of more than 65,000Bef; which is the equivalent of 1611 Euro (about $1300 dollar). I needed to cancel my other subscriptions and breach multiple contracts before I could pay this bill; because it was the fee of two months work; this while I was student.

They managed to send me a collector; who wanted the money immediately or get everything sold to pay up their bill. I paid the ransom fee; because else I'd loose all my stuff; while I was student in the middle of exams. Needless to say I failed my exams, failed the stress and stopped studieing at the university because it was *TOO MUCH* for me.

About a month later I received a call from Proximus it was an error at THEIR side; the bill was not mine and my bill was only 4,000Bef; which is the equivalent of 100 Euro (about $80 dollar). Big deal; they paid me back in TWO TIMES taking over a year before I had that money back.

I had to pay the collector and all costs myself; or sue them for court- which could have costed me more than just leaving it like this. It took me over a year and a half to recover from this financial pit, still leaving me with quite some financial troubles and problems with the suppliers (electricity, gas, landlord, cabletv, ...) where I broke contract with; since I couldn't pay them all at a time they also sent THEIR collectors...

This because of a stupid phonebill which wasn't mine; a stupid computer error; made worse by humans!

Searching on the web gave plentoria of results of other people having the same issues with the NX and other Compaq/HP series.

This has taken Compaq/HP ****2 FULL YEARS**** to fix these units; 3 visits of their technicians, one time the manager of my file went "missing" together with the file; 2 times I drove to brussels and back and plenty of letters and faxes and as a matter of fact I started just using it again, after it was fully refurbished and it is hanging *AGAIN* at reinstall!

No need to say, I am a hard-core PC user; but I went on thin ice and bought myself an Apple; best decision ever, this laptop works like a charm! Didn't even NEED support yet; integrates in our network seamlessly; installs within seconds; which sounds the best deal for me when buying a new product since my work-downtime was practically zero. I sometimes receive spam spoofed matching some of the people working in the same company. It's a coincidence but still a nuisance. Not to mention the o-so-many systems still accepting VRFY from any host over the world exposing any e-mail address and aliases by brute-forcing that company.
