    Go into YaST (Menu->Systen->YaST).

    Open Software->'Installation Source'. You want to add a yast repository that contains the KDE 3. rpms. Lucky for us SuSErs, almost every suse mirror has them!

    You can find mirrors from google if you search 'suse mirrors', and choose the 2nd result.

    The directory that you need to choose depends on the mirror, but it is usually along the lines of pub/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/update_for_10.0.

    Make sure you choose FTP, or HTTP depending on the server. Enable refresh on the server (this makes yast check to see if the repository is updated each time it's accessed).

    Then click finish to close the 'installation source' window. Now in YaST, open 'software management'. What you want to do is display all your installed packages, so you want to filter based on the 'package groups', then choose 'zzz all packages', located at the bottom of the left side. This will show you every package that you have installed, and is available to install. Now click 'Package->All in this List->Update if Newer Version is Available'. Now all the installed packages that can be updated have been selected!

    Click 'Accept', and try an solve any conflicts that arise, usually solve each conflict one at a time and click 'OK - Try Again' each time, sometimes solving one conflict removes others.

    It'll then tell you of any extra packages that will be needed, and away you go!

    How is this any different from movies? All the money goes to sequels, because there is a guaruntee (sort of) on a return on the investment.

    Halo sold well, Halo 2 sold better. GTA III sold well, GTA: VC sold better. Super Mario Brothers sold well, SMB 3 sold better.

    As long as people buy sequels, sequels will be made. Let the creativity be done by developers that don't own properties, or have properties that have run their course (like Rayman). The problem of course is getting these people funding.

    I've already upgraded my xbox 360. When I inserted a backwards compatible xbox (original) game, it prompted me that it can download an update to allow the game to play. It did, and the game worked fine.

    They can release updates with new games (like how Live was included with nearly every xbox game after 2002), make them available to download on Live (for free with the 360 because of the 'silver' account), by download from xbox.com and burn to a CD (which you can do with the backwards compatibilty update), or by shipment from MS (again, just like the BC update).

    I didn't. Then again, I also bought a Dreamcast (although it was a year old and use), and I didn't regret it in the least.

    Even though the PS2 is the dominator of the last generation, my xbox got LOTs of amazing games, and play-time by me. If the next-gen is the same, then I have no problem! Although, I do think MS will get a larger share this time.

    I can only think of the NES, SNES, and N64 as systems that had launch games that justified the system purchase. (MARIO!)

    I'm buying the 360, and a couple launch games, but I'm not getting the system for just the launch games. I'm also getting the system for all the great upcoming games over the next 4/5/6 years. Plus, I have a HD TV, and it's nice to have a system designed for it.
