the original nes controller wasnot very comfortable, and there are PC controller looks like that already, there are even ps2 controller that looks like old nes ones.
it probably makes no sense for UNIX V on gameboy advance due to the lack of a keyword
but I cant wait for some one to port a real OS with handwriting recognition/keyword to the new NDS, which has the touch screen on the bottom, then I can carry it to work, play it during a meeting and if some one asks:
"come on, it's not a handheld game console, it's a PDA."
according to my friends working in IBM, they dont love linux, they are just like SUN (I have friends in SUN as well), the only reason they use linux instead of their own OS is to make M$ product price lower....
actually you should abondon the ipod and carry the smaller creative Muvo2 4G mp3 player, which is smaller, same capacity as ipod mini but a lot cheaper, also with better sound quality.
I dont think people really care about what they make that much. Without a HD player which can play HD in a disc, where can they store their video clips to? Just divx/xvid clips in HD which is only viewable through computer?
is there's no disc replacing dvd to promote HD, the future of HD isnt that clear yet.
for example, NBC broadcasts olympics HD signal of previous day's stuff, instead of the current day's stuff on the non-HD channel.:( that just makes me sad, very very sad
is this really revolutionary over the file system or just a sub system work with the file system to provide index and additional information of files for search?
I think it's easier to implement and use, simple to backup and restore if it's not integrated to the file system core.
openGL extensions are not compatible with each other, not to mention so many different shader script stuff
well, change of name from directX to WGF is just like changing to windows CE to pocketpc OS then to windows mobile edition 2003, I still see same interface, basically.
no offense, following available from crappy IE:
1.ctrl+click for new window
2.find as you type
3.windows theme
4.customizable tool bar, link bar
5.3rd party tool bar, plugin
6.VS.net for development
for large LCD, usually native resolution is high. even fastest video card cant handle high resolution that well
and the background color is too bright for very large LCDs
dead pixel also hunts it.
doom3 network doesnot need much bandwidth and very few people would play it for now. since it supports too few players, the maps are all too small so it would be no fun.
it's mostly a single player game
on the other hand, is there any harddrive can handle this download speed? so they just save it in memory? or just conceptually "received" those data?
the discount is small. I pay $300/6 month for my 2000 camry. I will save very little and I dont want a box to record my speed. everybody drives a little bit over the speed limit, and I think the insurance company will give me almost no discount if that shows up in the "black box".
hooray!
everything has a risk. as the microwave, television might explode, or your car can break down
how to properly deal with the risk and minimize it is the key
well, nuclear power is not cheap, hope they are not doing this in a hurry.
axim x50 is coming out, which is claimed to have VGA screen, dual card slot (SD/CF), bluetooth and wifi. so x30 is far behind it.
Re:One of the unfortunate things about Apache...

Hardening Apache

apache might own 70% of individual, personal web sites, since they are free.
PC domains like marketwatch.com which handles hundreds of millions of hits every day is behind a router of a PC farm of IIS, which those "survey" doesnot account for.
great point, same for the fx6800 ultra, PC users can get fx6800 GT for $400 or less, fx6800 ultra for $500 or less, look at that apple price tag, $599...
btw, PC laptops have 5600go, mobile radeon 9800, I dont see them on macs.
the original nes controller wasnot very comfortable, and there are PC controller looks like that already, there are even ps2 controller that looks like old nes ones.
talk about misleading and fake facts:
isnt that what CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, FOXNEWS do all the time?
it probably makes no sense for UNIX V on gameboy advance due to the lack of a keyword
:D

it's meaningless to put those vendor specific OS onto a cellphone.
a dell x30 might not be perfect, but it has bluetooth, wifi, SDIO, 624M processor for $267 today
any one still wants to buy a cellphone over $300?
actually you should abondon the ipod and carry the smaller creative Muvo2 4G mp3 player, which is smaller, same capacity as ipod mini but a lot cheaper, also with better sound quality.
the file system itself should remain same old speed
just like current M$ indexing service is supposed to use idle time to index stuff
if the search part is not used all that frequent, it doesnot have to be kernel space and it should be fast enough for users
again, just my 2 cents.
I dont think people really care about what they make that much. Without a HD player which can play HD in a disc, where can they store their video clips to? Just divx/xvid clips in HD which is only viewable through computer?

cant wait for dell to use this water cooling OC system and offer it at half of alienware's price, when it has promotion.

so it boils down to same thing

when cheap laptops are priced at $500 as well? no way they can sell.
well, your company and your ISP will. :D
you dont have to have your own smtp server any way.
at least for a few big firms I know, they dont duck and cover behind apache, just some hardware router or windows software can handle those easily.

well, dell's market share is pretty good. that's a very succesful business model you cant deny. :D
