  1. Re:Whats the point? on Nintendo Unveils Wii MotionPlus · · Score: 1

I don't think it is as bad as you think. Basically... 3rd party game producers are paying for ignoring Nintendo.

    Super Smash Bros: 6 million

    Wii Play : 13 million
Mario Kart Wii : 6 million
    Mario + Sonic : 4 million
Super Mario Galaxy : 6.5 million
    Guitar Hero 3 : 3 million

    From the stats... million sellers

    PS3 : 15
    Wii : 25
    XBox360 : 41

Oh... and have you seen the kids dying for 4 controllers with nunchucks. Nintendo has a goldmine here. Wii + 2 more controllers + 3 nunchucks = ~450 bucks!

I'd like to share a revelation that I've had, during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species and I realized that you aren't actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with its surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply, and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.

ummmm no, the scientific method is all about observable results. You can hypothesize that a supernova happened today on a star 26,000 years ago, but you know nothing until you see the light. When you don't see the light, you revisit your original predictions and make modifications. These magical counters you mention exist(like scientists have an idea when our sun will run out of fuel, etc...) but they are only educated guesses and by no means anything to depend on.

You are assuming that co-workers are the thieves. Office Lurkers are very common. That is, people who tailgate into the company office or(as I have seen) walk in through the fire escapes. If anyone questions these people, they just act like they are lost. When you aren't looking, there go the laptops. Who can blame them, the ultra portable laptops are small, have high desirability and have a high value. Making friends has no effect on these type of people. Better security is not always the answer. People don't like to work in a place full of cameras and they like privacy(which means decent size cubes that lurkers can temporarily hide in(remember Neo).
