    Pinboard? I just heard about it myself. You have to pay around $7 for an account (the price increases as the user-base grows), however you can get a refund in the first three days if you don't like it.

    It has the ability to import from Delicious and, naturally, export your data back out. Thought I'd give it a whirl.

    Something in the roadmap caught my eye:

    I agree, but if you have to, just stay in a hotel with computers included, for example the City Inn Westminster has iMacs with Internet access in most rooms.

    We get these adverts in the UK too. You always get some joker in the audience shouting "I would if I could f**king download it" when the advert proclaims "You wouldn't steal a car, why steal music".

    There is already a Firefox extension named Dephormation. It doesn't fake browsing habits it just automatically sets the Phorm 'opt-out' cookie for each page view.

    I haven't had a chance to look into it properly but there appears to be a Firefox extenstion called Dephormation. The site states "But Dephormation is not a solution. It's a fig leaf for your privacy."

    If you, dear reader, live in the U.K. and are with an ISP that's thinking of dealing with Phorm then take a look at Bad Phorm to see what you can do about it.

    I remember a while back hearing rumors about the BBC making an iPlayer for the Apple TV. I wonder in light of this whether there is more truth to it. :-/

    I guess it just depends on the university. Where I went Java was the main introductory language but I also used C, C++, Haskell, Occam, Python, Prolog, Smalltalk and Fortran in various modules... and this was around 2002. :-/
