I would say the opposite would be true. If there is a barrier to entry for women into IT(or even a perceived barrier) then only the women who were truly interested in the subject will be there.

Why not make two hashes of a password using different algorithms, one using MD5 and the other using SHA-1. If an attacker was able to produce a password where the hash matched one it would be very unlikely to get the correct hash using the other algorithm unless the attacker had found the original password.
Water only boils at 100 degrees C under normal conditions. If you increase the pressure you can keep water in it's liquid state over 100 degrees, this is how a pressure cooker works.
Under pressure the molecules do not have space to turn into a gas.
Your viewpoint does not take into account the cost of the accidents. Insurance premiums are not calulated entirely on the probability part of the risk equation.
Risk = probability * consequences
If women had a lower cost (consequence) then they could have lower premiums despite being in more accidents.

An identity is supposed to be unique. Copying it makes it no longer unique. The uniqueness of your identity was stolen.

Come on Science fiction already has SciFi. Do we really need to shorten it further?

Easy, keep them under your tinfoil hat.
Too bad we can't seal off their part of the atmosphere too. Let them be destroyed by their own greenhouse effect.

Surely this proves that Microsoft is now seeing Linux as a credible threat to their business model and dominant market position.
Of course, even if they halved their prices they'd still be making a massive profit.
This is encouraging, perhaps Linux is just what market needs to bring back competition into play.
Did Microsoft not lower their prices enough at the mention of them going to Linux?
