Gah. The blazeness about this is amazing. "Pretending They're denying access to the porn site mode": They should tell their customers when they sign up or when this policy was put in place that they do this. They didn't, so therefore it's safe to assume I'm getting an access that isn't limited by my ISP.

I expect access to all websites whose creators allow me access. That is what I'm getting with my ISP. If Bigpond is going to censor what sites they will let me have access to they should have made it abundantly clear when I signed up or when this policy was created. Which they didn't.

But thankfully Bigpond isn't censoring my access to this website. They're providing a redirect page and is allowing you access to the porn site. I don't see anything wrong with that.

That's amusing. Linux being destroyed that is. Linux isn't a tangible thing that can be destroyed. It's an idea, that people can help create an Operating System for free. If they got rid of every single OS right now, Linux would take a big hit. But all it requires is someone to have a copy of the distro and know how to code and want to code and start playing with it. It started out as a hobby program, and could so easily again. Over time it would begin to get commercial status once more. You can't kill Linux. Red Hat, yes. Debian, sure. Suse, okay. Linux, nope. Linux won't be around forever, but whilever people aren't given the freedoms Linux gives people, there will always be people tinkering with it. And whilever that happens, it can grow to a commercial status.

I'd easily just as argue that the quality of music has declined and the people you know are getting older so therefore they may not be so crazy into music. Look at all the people reading webcomics. I bet the amount of people you know who read webcomics is greater then the number of people you know who read print comics. I also bet a lot of the people you know wouldn't be reading the webcomics if they weren't for free. There are lots of things you can blame the decline of the music industry on, but I haven't seen anyone conduct any scientific surveys. No, instead everyone is using what little information they have to use as propaganda.

If you don't like this then I hope if you ever hunt you use you go naked with your bare hands. I see no difference between using a gun in person to a gun remotely. If you think people are going to get hurt from this, let's compare how many people are hurt by this to how many people are hurt by people hunting in person.
