Game consoles are a little different as companies are willing to take a loss on hardware due to making up a percentage on each game sold on the console.
I don't believe HP or any of these other tablet makes make enough from their App stores to keep them afloat.
I always wonder who these folks are that want to jailbreak for purposes other than unlocking.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I would jb for two major reasons.
1. BiteSMS - Ability to send/receive SMS within another application. Not having iOS exit my current application in order to just read an incoming messages makes me wonder why this isn't a part of the core OS yet.
2. 3G Unrestrictor - It is nice to be able to download or use various applications without having to be near a WiFi spot.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Dolphin, the Wii Emulator for PC ( http://www.dolphin-emu.com/ ) which allows for users to play games at higher resolutions (720p/1080p) .
Most games look jaw droppingly amazing using the textures already available on Wii discs.
I wouldn't mind the successor to the Wii having tighter controls and HD games.
I think the problem is not just higher production costs, but that the games themselves cannot take advantage of having 3 or more GPUs. The diminishing returns of having more than 1 GPU fall off harshly after adding the 2nd GPU.

I actually like this change, it encourages people to pick professions based on fun or profit as opposed to pigeon holing them to pick a profession based on the gear that can be made.

How many cards do you use? The first one should have been free Comcast Cablecard FAQ additional ones do carry a fee but I didn't think it would be as much as $5 per card.

Two versions of Pokemon are going to be released on April 22nd. I feel like this is the game that will sell the DS for that people that are still picking up the older GBA SP models.

That being said, i'll wait for the next price drop to get one, can't wait to play older PS releases on it.

Define "Cheap", my current cable bill is $12/month. It's basic, and only includes local programming (NBC, ABC, FOX, WB and CW), PBS, 2 Spanish channels and some other various channels.
I can't justify signing up for any other services to make my bill (relatively sky rocket). Luckily, my Tv has a built in QAM and ATSC Tuner so i'm able to catch whatever signals are being sent OTA and unencrypted.

I think the most compelling reason as a VF fan to buy the PS3 version over the Xbox 360 is that he has the game now :)
