Oh, wait. I just dug deeper in the FAQ, and that's video conferencing only for now.
Can I video chat with a user running MSN Messenger?
Yes. Trillian is interoperable with video chat on MSN Messenger versions 6.2 and greater. PLEASE NOTE: Trillian currently *does not* support MSN's "webcam" feature, only the video conference feature!
The problem with your system - and every other single sign-on system I've seen - is that you end up giving out the same email address to everyone. So, when the spam starts rolling in, you don't know who sold you out, or has dire security.
I use sneakemail.com to give each service a separate email address. This paid off when a phishing scam mail came in yesterday, and I was able to pinpoint exactly who leaked my address, and will thus not be getting any of my money in the future.
Any single sign-on system that doesn't work with that setup, I'm not using.
Or you could use something like Kerio Personal Firewall to just deny Steam's internet access while letting everything else work as normal. That would probably be less hassle if you're running other things that need to access the network.
(Disclaimer: I haven't tried this, as I don't have HL2 yet. Need more RAM... and more free time!)
Not quite. Somerfield's two-for-one offers and the like are usually only available to customers with a card.
My local branch generally has a card lying around for those who forgot theirs, though - or they'll just give you a new one and say "fill in the form later":)
I thought it was a year and a half now on Orange - and then, only if you were on one of the more expensive monthly plans. If you're paying 14.50 a month for 25 all-network minutes, you can forget free upgrades.
OTOH, you can get 30 quid airtime credit if you trade in your old phone, which might be better than eBay if your old phone's a brick:)
I have no doubt the boss is crazy. I mean, who keeps a machine chainsaw in his office?
The sysadmin, given half a chance.

Destroying tanks with melee attacks? Wow. I thought you could only do stuff like that in Civ:)
As far as multiplayer goes, I agree. I've never been particularly bothered about multiplayer on PC - too much hassle to set up - but I'll be playing this one on Live...
I would hope I'd notice if someone was sniffing my package...
Yes, in the upcoming version 3 (Pro only)

That's probably what did it.Useful if your power company's web devs are as clueless as Powergen's...

(It also plays WMA, but I don't know if it does it gaplessly as I don't have any WMAs...)
Winamp plays all these formats just fine, of course.
Whoa. Did they have to stand on stools, or something?
Exactly :)
It's a shame judges aren't allowed to slap plaintiffs and their lawyers, it really is.
Agree about wallwarts, though. A shoebox with a flying lead at least doesn't foul the adjacent sockets.

One of our lot wrote the code for nukes. I think I was the first person ever to get a full-on nuclear wind in the face...
Unfortunately, that's what the average spyware installer does these days...
Not that I have to do this on a regular basis with the flaky Netware shares here, or anything.
Oh, sorry. Wrong game.

The best way round it seems to be to get a UK TiVo - we just don't get any software updates :(

Where's Homer Simpson's commode chair when you need it?
