This story isn't well written. Am I supposed to be convinced that it has a cult following simply because it was in King of the Hill, Lost in Translation, and a Skechers commercial? Holy cow, it MUST be successful! And I'm not sure where they were going with the description of how he was a goth. He was a goth... so what? What exactly is this story trying to do? If sympathy was the point, I'm not getting it. If it's to tell a story, it's done so poorly that I missed it. If there's another point... tell me please.
Which is why I'm sure the 150 figure refers to 150 hours to 100%. Makes sense when you put it that way. Sounds daunting to me, but I know if I need help there's going to be walkthroughs on GameFAQs hours after it's released.
Does our brain contract like muscle? Then don't make the comparison.

If cancer was cured, the pharmaceutical companies would be out of business.
The "good" thing, in terms of interest to the big pharmaceuticals, is that you don't need to catch cancer. People don't catch cancer from other people, they catch it from other stuff such as dangerous activities (smoking and drinking come to mind) or through their genes.
Unless they're curing people's genetic tendencies to form cancerous cells, the pharmaceuticals have a reason to cure cancer. If someone were gauranteed that their cancer could be cured, don't you think they'd be willing to pay a lot more?
A cure for cancer doesn't mean that cancer goes away, just that people don't die from it.
"On the other hand, it's sad cause PS2 easily could have another 4-5 years of life in the market alone. But PS3 is forced into the market by peer pressure."
To me, that's a good thing. Look at how long the Gameboy had on the marke, what, 10 years? Then the GBA came out and we were all better for it. They could have kept pumping out GB games and we would never have known the difference. That's the good thing about competition. Of course, I'm not too happy about buying another console, but I'm personally waiting until the prices drop a bit.
It isn't free though. You have to eat food to make up the difference, and I'm sure that you can calculate how many calories a single trip burns. So while you are getting infinite MPG, you aren't getting infinite miles per Calorie.
The saying (or the idea behind the saying) "you get what you pay for." VHS is cheaper than DVD, but the quality is less. If I pay more for a car, it's better. More expensive clothes, more quality. An expensive computer is better than a cheap one. Similarly, Windows must be better than Linux because you get what you pay for.
"PS: Not machine learning, but the sole requirement by me for a browser (dunno if its done in firefox now as hvent used it for a long time): Open new tab as a default rather than a new window, or at least provide the option."
I don't think they're referring to stuff like that, I think they're mostly referring to editing errors, like when a main character alternately has a messed up tie and then a neat one, stuff like that. That kind of stuff is almost like bragging about who's more observant, like "aw crap, why didn't I notice that?"
I do. For 450$ I can buy roughly 1500 CD's. A little simple math and you've got over a TB of songs. With the rest of the cash you can buy a fashionable Prada book or something for them.
That reminds me of that old joke, "Dehydrated water, just add coffee."

Crap. I totally messed that one up. Just mod me down then. :(

What's next, Final Fantasy XI: The Toilet Sheets? Final Fantasy XI: The Lunchbox? Final Fantasy XI: THE TOILET PAPER!?

Sorry, you just lost crap booth. Please insert coin.

Is this fact? No, but it is a general rule.

3 words: Tab Browser Extensions. It's all there.
Then how come no matter how much I practice I can't win?
Poster doesn't have a balcony...
Or the flip side to that argument is that you're wrong.
Yeah. It's so BAD.

This person is, get this, getting nostalgic about nostalgia! That's just absurd!
You can be so hurtful, AC :(

Ummm, don't go there? I'm sure there's theaters far more expensive than that, though. Why did you specifically pick that one?
I, for one, do NOT look forward to the coming mandatory auto-patching, but I suppose it is inevitable with Microsoft.
Shouldn't that read "I, for one, do NOT welcome our mandatory auto-patching overlords"?
Cleverly worded though. I guess that means a 15% increase in walk speed too.
Citizens Raging Against Phones beat them to it...
Another day, another cancelled MMO game. We should stop reporting MMO's that get cancelled and start reporting the ones that don't!
