    This is unacceptable, but every viable candidate in the election also voted for the PATRIOT Act. Unfortunately, we'd see the same shit from any of them, Obama, McCain, or Hillary. At least Obama supports stem cell research, so we'll get some scientific progress. Now, I didn't vote for Obama or McCain, but Obama does seem to be better than W.

    Every candidate should be a write-in candidate. No one deserves to have his or her name on the ballot anymore than anyone else. So either we list EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO BE ON THE BALLOT or list no one.

    Also, how about politicians be subject to laws they propose before they get brought into law. As soon as they propose or vote on a law, they get their lives audited. If they think it's something worth fining/jailing for, then they should be willing to submit themselves to said laws ahead of time.

    At this point you may as well pirate though. When someone pirates the game, at least they're not taking anything from the company. When Epic's game no longer works for consumers who purchased the game, Epic has conned users out of their money.

    Well, to be fair, you can also watch movies about killing people, but not kill people! A bigger concern may be that you can have "extreme" sex, but only if you don't record it.

    If you don't breathe, there is a near-zero (I suppose you could do it under water and then never come back up) chance of you becoming a rapsist. Pornography and rape both correlate highly with sex drive, but obviously that doesn't mean there is anything inherently wrong with having a high sex drive.

    Drug use does lead to violations of laws: drug laws. It forces the user to turn to the black market, where there is no police protection or government enforcement of contracts. So drug users and dealers are more likely to own a gun for protection. Being that a non-trivial percentage of them are felons, possession of that gun puts them in violation of even more laws. And on, and on. Illegal drug use does lead to crime.

    It seems like it is drug LAWS that cause this as opposed to the drugs themselves.

    If I were to throw a baseball and it broke a window or hit someone in the head, should I be able to sue the baseball company? It's INTENDED to leave my hands at a high speed in an outdoor environment.
