If you couple this with , the 100$pc movement in India....where everyone gets a pc for a cheap price... you would have an incredible botnet. 1 billion chinese....let's say half are without money to pay for a computer... and half of that again is using a regular old computer without the malware...leaves you with 250million... still pretty nice size botnet!
I wonder how much more we could play with the number to get an estimate..I just started the ball rolling, but I would be interested in a mathematical formula to calculate the approximate value for the botnet based on.....oh no...I am sounding like Charlie from NUMB3RS
The latest installment of Visual Source Safe is pretty good, they improved the performance over the network which used to kill on a domain spread across multiple cities (back during vb6 days), but now is really good repository tool. I also used another , but it lacked the history/detail section and could only keep a max number of files....seeing as you have hundreds of thousands
I tend to agree, however doomsickle it might be, I ten to realize that is whatever the government thinks makes them money...legalizing pot, if they saw a projected income from revenue generated by taxing and legalizing pot, we'd all be smocking tomorrow...
Isn't this the one where he builds himself a magnetic source that lays over top his heart to avoid a shrapnel from ever getting to the heart? Until they come out with IM2, i will be watching this one closely
At least this will help us in the long run, start to get new techniques, medications, even procedures out quicker because there are always a few brave souls willing to risk it all, for that end result.
Being the #1 worst application for vulnerabilities, meaning that its market share makes it installed on 99% of all pcs, you would think there long list of vulnerabilities would have made this a necessity years ago, but it is good news, maybe they will be a little more up to date with their unit testing, and develop better then average sandboxes to test all the drive by execution flaws they have.
I agree, in a perfect world, we should all just want to learn, we should not have to pay for anything, and life should be good. Real world here though, people need incentive to do stuff, nothing is free and nothing is ever just good!
I say whatever turns their crank, it could be money today, WoW credits tomorrow, and tacos thursday... in the end, it is a proven effective model that WoW uses, and makes a bizillion dollars with, the interest of the game comes from the cool accomplishments, gear or talents that comes from putting in the hours on your character....should be the same in real life...
Trust me, go into the ghetto and tell them you will pay them to go to school, and based on a system they will get money, you will see the biggest movement since MMOS hit the net. A ghetto girl gets 5000$ through out her educational years...enough to send her to college free for a few years.
This seems to be a small node of servers, but a lot of them seem to have integrated backups of databases. Either the person is on the inside, and got a backup of info from them without them noticing, or someone on the outside was able to fingerprint all the servers, and this can only be done if you have access into the network, either way, this is not good!!!
I applaud Obama, he has the right mind frame for getting cyber threats under wraps. Fight fire with fire....so get a hacker on board, to level the playing field. (Just make sure to always keep him either so terrified of not cooperating by suggesting his family might be on grave danger because he is now consorting with the gov. that they need supervision, and they will provide it just as long as he keeps on the up and up... which to me is not always the best, or keep him always interested in doing more and giving incentives he has to work for or towards)
He wants his own team, then let him choose it (like a cyber commando team leader), then allow them to have incentives too, however, you would need 2 teams, both of which are supposed to think the other is rogue ops, and might turn , so we need to keep them supervised. Also not too much of left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing, because you could go over board with impeding progress....but in the end...a good move.
Good for them, its about time , we should only download and burn ourselves, and not let China in on our piracy movement or help us with it, because that actually does hurt us more then the actual downloading of a movie. If i download a movie, it means I might not really have bought it, for cash, so technically, there is no loss of revenue. If i buy a pirated dvd from China, not knowing it was from China, I was buying that dvd, which it in itself is real lost cash for the movie companies. I applaud there effort.
I tend to agree with you there, there are so many more prominent situations across the board we could defer our resources to, however, children should not be completely put off to the side, everything is parallel, so to is the p0rn on the web...if you turn away for 2 seconds you fall so far behind playing catch up, you won't be able to catch them properly for another few years after you start again....
I believe there should be an overall committee, which has 3 sub division, fraud/identity theft, child p0rn, and virus/worm/spam divisions. These would each have there own budgets decreed by higher up management, and also correlating to their importance to one another, but sharing tactics and technologies to better make use of resources.
Also, just because we spend 1 billion dollars on child p0rn to catch those implicated, does not mean we will get more caught, it just means the chances should be greater. It all depends on how the money is spent and where, I think before giving any more money to any of these organizations, we should see where they will spend the money , sort of like a business plan, open for review by a few high class security experts, that can see the big picture....sometimes a lot of the people in these orgs, don't really know the firs thing about technology advances, even though they mean well.
I wont post any links, for any of the solar stuff, as most of them (actually all) are usually sited on this website. As for the differences between solar vs. wind turbine, you do not site any links as to where you get your information from either, but as it stands I do not have any more time to discuss this issue, I would prefer spending my time reading up on the things you say are out there...
Apparently even though something like this makes you cringe, it has been dubbed as not really that critical in nature, and even though you would have at the most materials to make a dirty bomb, it would take too much effort to counter all the security in place, as well as the motion activated satellite images of surroundings, leading you to know about an intrusion way before it is a problem. Usually, the MIB answer these calls, and they are usually very quick to intercept.
You know it is interesting that we have sent a sub down there, but it would have been cool to also send down tech that could record any sealife down there on webcam...and place beacons per each say 1000ft to be able to keep sending commands down to each camera to be able to control their movement...pan right up down...etc... We were able to send 2 rovers to the moon, could we not just do something to leave behind to record, so we don't have to keep going down there every 11 years...
Well you seem to have taken some time to google alot more information this time, then the last, I give you points on that. BTW the paint is actually now more efficient as they have newly discovered a type of alloy that allows you more absorbancy from the sun's output. This you can google too.
I am glad to hear you stand behind your points, it is too often we see people buckle under pressure. I stand by what I said, I do truly believe there is a HUMONGOUS wrap over what really happens behind closed doors with the oil companies and the rest of the globe. Bush comes to mind when I think of this, for the simple reason that he showed us he was behind making the oil companies all the money, being that most of them were all his friends, even to the point of seeing his visiting the saudi families.
Please do not let me think you are so naive as not to believe that the Saudies that have more money then you can count... (and that's saying something), would not give money through dummy corporations to invest into the motor companies, it happens all the time...it is called cross trading. Scratch my back....and my friend will scratch yours.
Good luck with your endeavors, I do not have more time then this to invest for this particular post. I am minimal with the time I have when i go on/. You have made many good points, and I hope you continue to offer your valued opinions in these posts.
I would guess to that if they don't know about this, they also don't know there are certain things you just don't virtualize either, like a server that has an SQL server on it...with big logs with lots of read and writes. There is something to be said about when to use VMWare, and when not.
If you couple this with , the 100$pc movement in India....where everyone gets a pc for a cheap price...

I keep seeing the scenes from resident evil (or any of your cliché pandemic horror movie)
where everybody is turning into _____ (add your sickness) and running through the streets.....
and your trying to get out of the city before you are contaminated as well....and they all run after you...
you got a few seconds head start....quick where do you hide?
How about dilithium...so we can hear scotty say it loud and proud?
The latest installment of Visual Source Safe is pretty good, they improved the performance over the network which used to kill on a domain spread across multiple cities (back during vb6 days), but now is really good repository tool. I also used another , but it lacked the history/detail section and could only keep a max number of files....seeing as you have hundreds of thousands
So which do you prefer using performance wise then...of all the ones you tested...?
Just asking
I tend to agree, however doomsickle it might be, I ten to realize that is whatever the government thinks makes them money...legalizing pot, if they saw a projected income from revenue generated by taxing and legalizing pot, we'd all be smocking tomorrow...
And this is news worthy because.....?
what do u mean, she's his next victim....it's not a waste of time...!
Isn't this the one where he builds himself a magnetic source that lays over top his heart to avoid a shrapnel from ever getting to the heart? Until they come out with IM2, i will be watching this one closely
My condolences to his family, and the company....this is a sad tragic event.
At least this will help us in the long run, start to get new techniques, medications, even procedures out quicker because there are always a few brave souls willing to risk it all, for that end result.

Just like a billboard, you could lease out ad space for particular clients, if your domain name seems to attract a lot of traffic.
