Will you people please get into the Slashdot-April-1st-mentality? All I see is "OMG NOW FUNNY!"

It's not ment to be funny! It's a day where just random joke articles are posted, if you don't like it go read a book. It's a giggle once a year, the "it's not funny" feeling you get after 4 of them is all part of it.

Slashdot uses april fools day to post nothing but junk like this. If you don't like it go else where but personally I like to have a day off from bashing Windows and designing the next tin foil hate style.

I've spent most the day playing GTA:SA and have played every GTA released up to this point and I have to say.

GTA DOES NOT ENCOURAGE YOU TO FUCK WHORES!

It is infact more cost effective to just goto a hospital or a restraunt and restock that way. It's also quicker and easier. Prostitutes take alot of work and killing them wastes time and ammo.

But obviously no one mentions GTA can be played with no violence at all if you wish to ignore the missions..

  15. So.. on Supreme Court Takes Hard Look at P2P · · Score: 1

So what about all the artists who do support P2P? The people who are so sick of the record labels screwing them every day of the week. The people who are now getting a name for themselvs by releasing a few songs free and putting others on websites like iTunes? There are alot of these people popping up and getting known now, maybe it's time we started to support these people rather then listening to the billionaire companies crying that someone stole 25p from the artist for every 100 songs they downloaded.

  16. can't control it.. on UN Wants To Regulate Internet · · Score: 1

The internet is a world of it's own. It is directly connected to the real world via servers and users, but it's aworldof it's own. The real world does not apply to it and people need to remember this.

If people want to do illegal stuff they will do it no matter what you do to try and stop them. Would people please stop thinking they can regulate the internet and cure all it's problems. They can't do it in real life so they sure as hell can't do it online.

  17. so.. on South Korean Gov't. Advocates Linux · · Score: 3, Interesting

  19. gah on William Shatner Pitches 'Starfleet Academy' Show · · Score: 1

Look to the future, move forward and enhance the sci-fi populus as a whole. Don't keep rehashing the same 3 plot lines.

  23. If.. on A Perspective on Microsoft's Shared Source · · Score: 0, Troll

If Windows became open source we would see £100 knock down on the price of every single PC. This would then make more people buy PCs, which would help the whole industry except Microsoft. It would encourage growth in hardware and softcore could follow suite nicely.

But hey this is old Bill here, we all know Microsoft is the whole industry in his eyes (with a little brother called Intel). So hey he's not going to do this.
