I found that series very funny, however I am from the U.S. so I didn't recognise many of the celebrities that were being tricked, and thus the series probably did not reach its full potential hilariousness.

That may be true but the cats arn't lost, they know where they are. If they are gone it is because they don't like you anymore. Dogs just run out of the house and get lost because they are dumb.
If they are going to use the word "phishing" they at least need to haxor-up the word "spear" a little bit. Call is "Sphear phishing" or something 1337 like that.

Perhaps the game was implying that the now empty salt shaker could function as a bucket, rather than the salt transforming the slug into a bucket? But yeah, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense either way.

Playing the Forgotten Hope mod for Battlefield 1942 got me interested in WW2. This is how I learned how the allies totally pwned the n00b germans despite their brillant defenses and 1337 hax0ring at both Omaha and Gold beach. The allies best tactic?... bunny hopping.
For those who don't know, this is done by typing "about:config" in the address bar. Then filter or search for "network.prefetch-next" and set the value to false.
