So, according to him, Indians should simply follow the west like a trailer? Really? Next should be copying the lifestyle the west has, the problems that come with it. Think of the unhealthy food, high suicide & divorce rates and declining moral standards. Does the "traffic" ever go the other way? That is, the west learning from countries like India?

This man is an embarrassment to say the least. Anyway, I will leave Indians to determine their destiny.

I must admit: I do not know much about Cyrus-based services, so can't speak to that.

I will however talk about GMail and my frustration(s) with it.

1: It's ugly and cumbersome to use by default. An Outlook-like interface has proven itself. To make GMail look like Outlook, one must install and enable some 3rd party add-on.

2: Email threads are a pain to follow. Their interface is just kind of complicated compared to proven solutions out there.

3: Lack of folders by default. I know one can use IMAP. But the key here is availability of something by default.

    4: It's just too plain...Some say it's ugly.

Emphasis mine - Just to be clear since who a terrorist is to one entity, might be a "hero" of sorts to another.

Now, before I get crucified here, lets remember that the Taliban were once supported by the USA. During that time, some called them terrorists. What they are to the USA now, is well known.

What I have learned in the west is that people do not really "enjoy life." They live to work. Laws surrounding how family matters are handled do not necessarily favor the male. These could all have had a hand in this.

I must say I am sorry for the family's loss. I also think we in the west need to take life easier a bit. It's not all about money. We should also understand that elsewhere in the world, there are folks who seem to be happier with much less than what we have here.

I know this, for I am well travelled. To conclude, let's not start blaming the employer right away. There's definitely much more to this than this piece says.

I love the way Outlook is laid out. In order to have this layout in Gmail, I need to use some experimental add-on!

Following an email thread is just too confusing. I am still learning how to use it myself...

I find Gmail colors too "bland" for my liking and options provided are a gimmick in my opinion.

Why can't I choose what labels are displayed on the left? I sometimes want to hide everything else apart from what has to do with email and to an extent, chat.
