Ah well. I like the song overall, but its resemblance to Pink Floyd is absolutely disturbing. Will modern society never see another unique piece of music?

Pink Floyd was prety damn unique anyway, a song in the same vein as their post-Syd-pre-DSOTM days is quite excellent, no matter what the subject.

No, because nuclear missles have engines that will only work in our atmosphere, and will only power the payload above the atmosphere.

I suppose we could launch it on a space-shuttle type device to get it into orbit and have it retrofitted with space-based engines (Think Saturn V-style).

No, what's needed is an advancement in the chip at the center of this device. Currently it only has one MAC and PHY for ethernet. The next evolution of this chip should have 2 MAC/PHY. Package it in a metal case with RJ-45 at *both* ends and flash a minimal Linux+FW into it.

    Er...way to understand my post...

I run Slack on my server and my desktop, two seperate machines. But since I like GNOME, I'm going elsewhere for a desktop distro. Slack still 0wns for my server.

  17. Thanks, Pat on Gnome Removed From Slackware · · Score: 0, Flamebait

I was always a big Slack fan. In fact, I run it on my server.

GNOME is my favorite desktop. Unfortunately, since you no longer choose to put it on your distro, I'm going elsewhere for a Linux distribution to run as a desktop.

I wonder if the term Dropline GNOME was any hint that this would happen.
