Pretty much what I came here to say. Why buy a 500gb drive that when it comes out is going to be a lot more expensive than the 1tb drive that's out NOW.
Doesn't really matter, it's all about the GPA. If you've got that you get the money, both after your degree and while earning it.
I live in florida and there's basically 2 classes of people here. The model students who all seem to get the same test scores and GPAs and get almost all the resources and scholarships and then the rest of us mere mortals with GPAs in the mid to upper 3 range (out of a perfect 4.0).
Given the sheer quantitity of stuff the first class of people are capable of doing with very little time left for actual studying there is either a huge number of people living here with eidetic memories or a huge number on adderall or their study-drug of choice cramming books at 3am for tests the next day.
I'm going to regret it but where the hell did you get the up to 72fps number and if that's true why can almost anyone see the difference between a 75hz refresh rate and an 85hz refresh rate on a CRT.
You forgot the glaring technical problems like mouse sensitivity and acceleration changing randomly everytime the game loads something (new level, reload a save, etc).
That and that bioshock seems to follow the console FPS graphical theme of having one nifty shader or effect and having the rest of the game look like UT99.
No, you don't get it. This is not something that you just dump something on. It's not a big truck. It's a series of tubes. And if you don't understand, those tubes can be filled and if they are filled, when you put your shit in, it gets in line and it's going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, ENORMOUS amounts of material.
In college, yes. But in college (at least at mine) they need to actually investigate and hold a sort of semi-hearing on whether or not to discipline me and how, and i'm allowed to argue my side.
In my high schools, all 3 of them, I was never allowed to even be present at any of my "hearings" for plagiarism or worse and attempting to defend myself in any way was specifically listed as a form of insubordination and added on to my punishment.
Remember, we're talking about a group of people who will check "insubordination" AND "gross insubordination" and then treat them as two seperate offenses just so they can claim multiple offenses and suspend someone longer.
"They are required to complete an accreditation process and undergo training to update their 'knowledge on emerging social trends and evolving best practice in social media.'"
So does this mean that trolls are going to be getting certified now?
Frighteningly I'm disagreeing not because it isn't true but because I thought the Planetside betas were better than what came later. Then again SoE is out of their minds anyway.
Hi, nice to meet you too. Living in Orlando Motherfucking Florida right next to two of our most populous colleges and just a few miles north of Downtown Motherfucking. I have the options of:
Embarq DSL (which I have - 3/600)
Huge portions of central florida are stuck with either just embarq, with a lucky few having a choice between embarq or brighthouse.
And trying to get any sort of service over the last 10 years has until very recently resulted in me getting laughed at and hung up on because they had an absolute monopoly. When I finally did get someone down here he discovered that they'd been so lax in their maintenance that the wires were literally falling apart in his hands.
I'm sorry, but those of us living in some 90% of the goddamn country have no choice because we live in monopolies or, if we're extroardinarily fortunate, a duopoly.
We're talking about ISP's... WHAT competition? In my entire life I've never met anyone that had a choice between more than 2 ISPs for either cable or DSL.
Yknow who else used plastic, don't you?

Those last two sentences... one can often have nothing to do with the other.
Idunno, you'd have to ask the manufacturer
Candle. If it goes out stick your head out a window.
In case you haven't noticed the supreme court is actually deciding on that proposition right now.
What probably happened is they picked a number for how much money they wanted to make and when they didn't make it blamed it on piracy.
Wait, you mean people try to sell physical products for more than it costs to make them so they can profit off of the sale?
What a novel concept!
where's the study on the far greater number of jocks who are "addicted" to sports and their school performance suffers for it?

And if I started charging people to read those books and set up a business doing it? What if I did the same with movies? Music?

I took a different approach, I deliberately got caught by turnitin as often as possible for plagiarizing my own previous works.

You must be new to the internet. Anyone that's seen the Goatse man knows that the sun can in fact shine there.

Offtopic: I just want to thank you for not saying irregardless.
This is slashdot, half the people here probably don't see any problem with carrying a bitdriver and spare wiring around with them.

Quoted from TFA.
Never heard of that one, but I did take the Ten Most Harmful Books of the 19th and 20th Centuries and print it out as a Required Reading list.
