The law was passed with the understanding that the internet was not covered. If the FBI wants the internet included then get congress to change the law.
The Washington Post has an article(reg required) today about Beth Plowman, a Damascus international public health adviser, was shocked when she discovered that a $27,240 arbitration judgment had been levied against her for credit card charges incurred by an identity thief who bought sporting goods all across Europe.
How come the print media hasn't hired the MPAA/RIAA lawyers to save their outdated business model. We can't have the buyers(eq. to listeners?) giving money directly to the sellers(eq to artists?) now can we?
Craigslist should be taken down with the FBI's help and the operators brought up on some bogus terrorism charges.
A gas tax is better. It's the typical no-brainer use fee. Our entire tax system should be based upon use fees scaled to pay for the resources consumed.
The AAMVA: American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators(AAMVA) has submitted its
recommendations on uniform drivers licensing and licenses. Lots of good stuff and common sense for consistency of design, processes and procedures. Some items are of concern, especially the 'requirement' that the SSN be used as a person's personal identifier. The AAMVA does say that biometrics is not ready for prime time. More recommendations need to be requirements when it comes to sharing data outside of law enforcement. They do recommend not giving undocumented aliens a drivers license. This would seem to be a no brainer after 9/11. Wouldn't it also be abetting a crime?
Do I need a land line?
How do you check for availability if I only have a cell phone?
Is the monthly price higher for non-verizon phone users? What about cell phone users(Verizon or not)?
What are the minimum system requirements?
What brand and model of router?
Is the Verizon installation free?
How much is the FUSF(Verizon Online monthly Supplier FUSF recovery fee)?
Until then the FCC and FBI can piss up a rope.
I'm sure lawyers could find a way to make the kid pay for the cost of the recall.
The MPAA/RIAA will sell copyright violations as a form of terrorism. If you're against the broadcast flag then you must be supporting Osama.
... and get a call from MS' lawyers for violating the DMCA.
Mark's quite the maverick himself.
What's next, wireless electricity and cordless extension cords.

Cigarettes don't kill, people kill. It's your own fault if you treat your body like a sewer.

Good riddance. If hell exists he is certainly there.

I meant to say 7 if you include Skylab(Conrad and Bean). All of the Apollo 10 crew flew twice, as did Scott and Lovell.
He was the backup commander for Apollo 10. 5 other astronauts flew twice on Apollo, 7 if you include Apollo-Soyuz.
You forgot the George Lucas part where 10 years later he changes the movie's sound of the lock being picked to that of a .44 Magnum.
Seems to me that these missing features are some of Bluetooth's core capabilities. How many features can they remove before it is no longer Bluetooth?
