    I don't see how a T/A can get 4mpg. My old '74 pickup with a 454, headers, aluminum intake, 4 barrel carb, and 3.73 rear end would typically get about 10 mpg.

    Then again, I let my friend borrow it one time and he managed to empty a full tank in just 2 hours... so maybe it is possible...

    I don't know about laptops, but my P90 desktop had a 1GB drive, and that sob was expensive! (About $1000.00/GB at the time)

    I thought the whole concept was based on the wall being a large screen.
    Maybe instead of Windows Paint, they could have a wall sized version of Photoshop and Illustrator -- only easier to use for kids. :)

    It's been my experience that cleaning people use the same dirty rag to clean your monitor that they just used to clean the last 10 dirty desks.

    I consider all of the miracles in the bible to be lies (or incorrectly attributed natural events) along with all of the references to god. I would also assume that many in the Church of Scientology are just as firm in their beliefs as you are in yours.

    You should see City of Villains/Heroes. The charater customization allows you to change nearly everything including nose size, jaw size, and costumes. You can also unlock multiple costume slots so your character can have multiple looks for different moods or occasions.

    So you think The Daily Show will suddenly stop making fun of the president as soon as a Democrat gets elected? I believe they will make fun of whoever is in power and making the most blatent mistakes. If that turns out to be the case, then I wouldn't call them very biased. Now do you think that Rush Limbaugh will suddenly start rooting for the Democrats when they are in power?

    No insult taken, and I too happen to have enjoyed the show the few times I've seen it. It is possible, that a lot of his comedy depends on timing and charisma... George Carlin used timing to great effect in his routines (though he alse had better material).

    Suppose he offered to correctly configure said routers for the homeowners for $5.00.
    That doesn't sound so bad, does it?

    I have no idea how much money the hacker/consultant wanted from the bank for his services, but I bet the ammount relative to their income was miniscule indeed.

    Interesting. I have this same keyboard and it could use a little cleaning. Since you are experienced at this, could you answer a few questions about your procedure?

    Do you set the dishwasher to air dry?
    Do you remove any of the keys prior to washing?
    How long do you let it dry before putting it back in service?
    Do the keys ever fall off in the dishwasher?

    As someone who tries to play Kings Quest V without a strategy guide, there is no way anyone will just stumble across all of the random steps required to complete many of the games required tasks. I never did finish that game and had to hear how to complete the tasks second or third hand long after the fact.

    It took me at least two years to finish the original Unreal. That game lasted me through one if not two complete computer upgrades. (The nVidia graphics in that game didn't look nearly as good as the original Voodoo card I used to have.)

    Maybe this card reduces your ingame lag that occurs while you are downloading/uploading torrents (or other high-traffice apps) in the background. I don't see why this couldn't be done. Of course, a smarter bittorrent client would have much the same effect and likely be free.
