ahem.. and while you criticize someone for his lack of spelling abilities. you yourself mispelled a 2 letter word. K isn't a word, at least it was not a word last time i checked.
My point is, he makes a good point, why squabble over little crap such as spelling? It's obvious that he was able to convey his point of view, seeing that you took the time to post an inflammatory reply.
More than 100,000 workers helped develop the nation's nuclear arsenal in Nevada, and more than 800 fell ill for their efforts.
If they're talking about the legacy of the Test Site, I don't think they should use a mushroom cloud unless they show what it did to the people who live here and worked out there,
Ya know.. from looking at his constituants contributions, the film/music/tv industry only gave him $19,435. Why dont we just buy our own congressman? The way i see it, if every member of slashdot gave only a dollar, we could raise enough money to convince the house to do our bidding.
Afterall.. it _is_ government by the people _for_ the people.. isn't it?
Why spend $1500 for this, when a computer would more than suffice?
Granted having a tower crammed into your average entertainment system would be ugly as hell.. not to mention unwieldly.
Personally, i got a Book-PC. it fits perfectly in with the rest of my system, plus with its svideo output, it gives the added value of allowing me to play my MAME games through the rest of the system. simply throw in a wireless keyboard and mouse. and your all set. and i paid less than $700 for the system.
i suppose i could use the extra $800 to buy beer or something.
I bought a HP dvd100i dvd+rw about 2 months ago. I havent had any problems with it yet. My only gripe is the lack of decent dvd authoring tools. Granted, Ulead's dvd studio is available, but the menuing (is that a word?) leaves much to be desired. nevertheless its good to see that dvd burners are becoming more and more mainstream.
Bush was elected and has experienced one of the highest approval ratings ever. They didn't highjack anything, we had an election. If you don't like it, vote for the other guy. If enough other voters agree with you you'll get your way, otherwise welcome to the minority.

True ... you cant be tried for the same crime twice .. but IIRC, this isnt a trial .. its a lawsuit.
People most likely went to google looking for cached versions of the news reports. remember, cnn (and most other news sites) were swamped.
Couldnt you simply boot to Linux using Toms RTBT, mount the drive and delete any files you want.
