USA electricity pricing is 8 - 17 cents / kWh (source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...). So let's say $0.2 per kWh 10MW = 10,000 kW. So if you were using the full 10MW connection that would cost $2000 per hour. I'm sure if you are using that much you get a special rate.
From a quick search I found this PDF: https://www.ergon.com.au/__dat... For that particular 26500m^2 shopping centre their energy usage was 4000 kVA, which is 4MW. There are at least 9 shopping centres in Australia that are 5x larger than that in terms of m^2.
So yes, there definitely are connections of that magnitude delivering continuous power. And they are not all that uncommon.
Just above the comment section it says: "The Fine Print: The following comments are owned by whoever posted them. We are not responsible for them in any way."
Which you can. You can install the standard desktop version of Adobe Reader. Just like on any other version of Windows. If anything they make it easier since there is also a built in reader, which works reasonably well enough if you only occasionally use PDFs.
Here in Australia Huawei and ZTE modems seem to be the only thing available from the majority of providers. Certainly the three major carriers have them (or did six months ago when I last looked), and I haven't seen a non-Huawei or ZTE modem from any of the MVNO.
Perhaps because in the USA you have different frequency bands?
"...did you just say that the company isn't loosing money fast enough?"... "Dilbert, will you stop embarrassing yourself, if you read Dogbert's book you would know that a fast growing company always looses money while it's expanding" "were not a fast growing company!" "and we never will be if we don't loose more money!"
I can't believe someone marked you flaimbait for a legit quote from the show. Though now I am going to have to go watch that episode (The Deep South) again:D
well I did anyway, it somehow managed to overload outlook and a copy of outlook express opened as well (the outlook express setup dialogue at least). Seemed to be trying to run some irc and edonkey scripts as well.
Had to kill process on firefox.
I remember back in the days when internet explorer would open it automatically for me when I clicked the link. Now firefox makes me download the file and run it by hand! What a sad world we live in where I cannot open my disc drive via a website anymore.
This is exactly the case in Australia until recently (iTunes store opened recently). We cannot make copies, the digital music stores were all.wma. I pointed this out to many people but no one really cared.
So we are not allowed to listen to anything but free indie music and home made stuff on our iPods.
If we are forced to commit a copyright infingement then why not just download the music and save some $$. (I do actually buy CDs, but thats because I like to keep the artwork for them).

Well what that has revealed to me is I have to go all the way to the top of the line to get a dual layer DVD burner. That seems kind of ridiculous as pretty much every windows laptop you get now comes with it afaik.
Granted I have burnt about 1 DVD on my laptop ever (I do that on my desktop), and 0 dual layer discs on any computer it is not that big of a deal, but it would be nice to at least have the option.
personally I am more worried about this Apophis asteroid:
"Apophis, measuring 300 metres across and with a mass of less than 100 million tonnes, will fly by at a distance of 36,350 kilometres from the Earth's surface on 13 April 2029."
I have a HD-747 and I found the unlock code worked on mine, they should have the same circuitry inside them. I also got this for the upscaled output, I was originally annoyed about having to find and get a 10m DVI-HDMI cable for my projector but the HDCP fix has removed that problem, 1080i over component video now!
Also means I can use the amp to switch component inputs for dvd and set top box rather than waiting for the projector to start up and changing the input on it (which cannot really be automated into one button press).
These new improved toads are something I have noticed. I have been moving around quite a bit, two years ago I was in a house surrounded by a lot of toads, the regular slow type. Six months ago I moved to a new house in a more bushy area with a lot more toads. The ones here move very fast compared to the other ones (I call them fast toads, after the fast zombies in HL2).
They are very inconvenient to hit as the rate they move you can't get them with the car easily and if you're playing golf you can't line it up, you have to go Happy Gilmore style!
But the government will be bankrupt! There are just so many of them! Last night I counted around 5 in a 2 m^2 area of the yard. It is not uncommon to see 10 or so toads on the 100m of driveway at night, and there will be countless more hiding in the grass.
My friends and I went on a toad hunting night at a local park, we cleared away around 50 toads in an hour. Considering due to us being idiots we only had ONE torch I think we did pretty well.
The scary ones is when your up late at night, and then you hear a *thump* as a big one jumps against the glass door (they are attracted to light).
I vagely recall reading something about office buildings being lit up at night to add effect to the city skyline. City councils request companies leave them on.
I see this being a problem as a lot of people would then leave their devices (DVD ect, not so much the tv) on all the time. It makes no difference to them if it is on or off (just some extra lights on the front) but they still have the convenience of standby.
Make a maximum wattage during standby and get rid of the standby LEDs! They are pretty much useless most of the time anyway.
I picture a giant 8 legged robotic spider jumping out of its hiding place, letting out a 150 dB roar (the sound effect for t-rex in Jurassic park would work well) and then chasing the criminal down the road (these things would be fast, and loud on account of their heavy weight breaking the concrete sidewalk). Once it caught them it would pin them down, release a squirt of rotting flesh smell for effect and then 'eat' them into the holding cage in their belly.
The criminal would never commit a crime again! Although they would probably need new pants

Argh I can't believe I made that mistake, I even know it is wrong!

"either states his name or communicates it to the officer by other means" I choose to communicate it through interperative dance!
you think that is bad! There are apparently only three in all of Australia. All in Melbourne, it is a 2.5 hour flight to get there from where I live.
It is linked to in TFA: Link
Actually it is linked in the summary too if you click "in every THX enabled movie theatre"
Translation:
Three people will have blue ray players, the other seven people who have a hd player will have HD-DVD.
The interest for these seems to hardly be there. I know I won't be buying one any time soon due to all the drm crap they force on you.
Yeah but what goes in must come out, you must have never eaten hot sauce before.
Maybe it will come in topical form! What a way to start the day!

dooomed I tell you!

Your forgetting, Sony is both Hollywood AND the manufacturers.
