Why is everybody focusing on the "version number" comment, and not talking about the fact that Firefox is a GIANT memory hog, and whether Seamonkey is or is not?
In other words, if you’ve ever accidentally fumbled your thumbs over a political story or tapped the wrong ad on your iPhone, you might accidentally ‘like’ Mitt Romney
It's probably all of those liberal lunkheads that were in such a hurry to dismiss any Romney ad that popped up on their device, that they inadvertently "liked" him.
LOL... Serves them right.
"This is partly based on 'Nudge' theory, a U.S. concept which states that persuasion, rather than enforcement, can be an effective way of changing behavior."
Why do they want to change my behavior? What is "wrong" (i.e., in need of changing) about wanting to view adult content if you are an adult?
"Nature says it was unable to work out who the writer was but they likely worked on diabetes and the studies criticized were from the Denmark-based pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk."
Why does Nature want to figure out who the whistleblower is, and then announce it to the world? Seems to me that would make a future whistleblower NOT want to expose wrong-doings they discover.
I want to be able to set "about:blank" as my homepage, but whenever I try, I get that homepage with the one-click stuff on it. I just want a simple, empty page, and nothing else.
Of course, no browser is good at handling memory. I am always hopeful, though.
"and a new default home page with one-click access to Bookmarks, Settings, Add-ons, etc."
This is a "feature" of Chrome that I really hate. I wish I could disable it.
Let's reflect, again. How much time did Dr. Conrad Murray receive for his MAJOR contribution to the death of Michael Jackson? It just goes to show that the American criminal "justice" system has been bought and paid for.
What a completely asinine thing to say. How about the fact the human beings are very emotional creatures? How about the fact that we oftentimes, unfortunately, "vote" with our emotions even though hard cold logic [that we understand] is staring us in the face? This is NOT stupidity at all, [with all due respect to King Leonidas] this is emotion. Sure, our emotions have brought us, as a species, quite a bit of pain and suffering, but it has also brought us quite a bit of pleasure and joy. Maybe these "scientists" should review their vocabulary and/or human history.
The Government seems determined to protect us from privacy rights violations at the hands of big business. But, what about protecting our privacy rights from the Government itself?
I live in a sub-division where the Home Owners Association does not allow solar panels to be installed. The world could completely run out of fossil fuels, and the only hope is solar/wind/geothermal/etc., and all these idiots care about is resale value. Personally, I believe "free" energy would be a perk when it comes to selling a home.

"Skin has been an overlooked part of robotics"
The Borg Queen doesn't overlook skin.

Just askin'.
I've always been a fan of Kate Wilhem's Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Where_Late_the_Sweet_Birds_Sang
And, yet, they keep pulling me over for drinking and driving, and never for talking/texting and driving.
Talk about "destined to sink". It seems that there were so many factors against poor Titanic, that it was going to sink no matter what.

Then I'll start flagging whitehouse.gov, fbi.gov, tsa.gov, mpaa.org, riaa.org, etc.

How awesome would it be if she was still alive, and could record her voice for this?
