I do agree that Hollywood glamourises violence and guns in movies but please don't put all Americans in that statement. I, for one, do not watch those types of movies/television shows and I am strictly against owning guns.

To all of you that loves complaining about HP, did you even read the article? Do you even know what this product was intended for? The reason this product didn't fly is because HP DID NOT have the source for Windows that they needed. This is NOT the fault of HP!
What's wrong with his site? Personally, I hate sites that have things flashing and jumping off the page at me. Those types of sites are extremely annoying. If I visit a site like that, I usually just leave.

I used Gentoo for about 3 months and Portage is okay but it isn't great (definitely not any better than apt or YUM on Fedora Core 2).

Exactly! If Newham was dumb enough to base their decision on a MS-funded study, then they deserver whatever comes of this decision.
