Mozilla 2.0 is not ready yet, but in the mean time Mozilla 1.8 Alpha 6 has been released. It has better support for XForms, CSS3, SVG and is more compatible with Solaris. I wrote some info about it here.

When traditional media in USA become more and more controlled by suspicious interests, blogs offer a unique free approach to journalism. But writing on a blog can cost you your job or even land you in the court, as the BBC says. When blogs will become more popular, the media empires will understand that they are losing ground so they will try to attack the bloggers over various excuses such as "innappropriate images", "published sensitive information", "libel", "innappropriate use of trade marks" et cetera.

[funny]People seem to trust M$ so much that they refuse to use any product not built by them. I wonder how much would it cost to buy the M$ and Windows trademarks. We could all of us donate a portion of the money and then give it to M$ in order to buy the rights to their trademarks. Then, we could market a version of GNU/Linux or *BSD as "Microsoft GNU Windows" or "Microsoft BSD Windows". In fact, KGX is not more difficult to use than Windoze. nmap is not a crack tool. It is a dual-use product useful to netadmins. While it can be used by crackers, its intended function is to investigate networks. 22. Microsoft? on Microsoft Patents 'IsNot', Enlists WTO · · Score: 1

Where does it says that the assignee of this patent is Microsoft? The patent was filed on 14 May 2003 but the USPTO gave it the code 20040230959 and published it on 18 November 2004. It appears that it is not an actual patent yet, but just an application. I don't pay any attention to patent applications. Here in my country I have seen many applications in our patent office for UFO constructions et cetera. Of course they are never accepted.
