I think Verisign would be much better off to build a new easy-to-remember untarnished name, rather than resurrecting one dripping with poor opinion and bad history.
I bet they can get enron.com for pretty cheap. I see that cluelessidiots.com is open too. I don't care what they change their name to however since I will never allow them to mismanage any domains for me again.
MindGuard is a program for Amiga and Linux that protects your mind by jamming and/or scrambling psychotronic mind-control signals and removing harmful engrammic pollutants from your brain. It also has the ability to scan for and decipher into English specific signals so you can see exactly Who wants to control you and what They are trying to make you think. With MindGuard, you can rest assured that your most valuable possession -- your mind-- is safe from the nefarious tinkering of evil-doers.
I am so glad this software is available, now we can get even more of the right kinds of folks advocating the use of Linux. Is there a large untapped market for Linux use in mental hospitals?
Actually it just has a little skull and crossbones. Glancing down at your watch, you notice you have just been exposed to a lethal dose of radiation. Luckily the watches come with free diapers, since you promptly shit yourself.
The best part will be trying to explain to everyone what you are doing with your phone. "I am playing Pacman. The little yellow dot is me, the red/pink/orange dots are chasing me, and I am looking for the last dot which is so tiny, I can't even see it."
among other things, the author claims that modern man was genetically engineered by aliens I wish they had engineered in a gene that required we have actual proof of something before we believed it was true.
Is AOL keeping all the money and doing nothing for it's users? Or is it going to do something to redistribute it's winnings, like refunds or discounts on on-line fees for a few months?
I think the plan is to send out even more free coasters/cd cases. It is so wonderful that they are planning on rewarding even non-customers like me!
The best part about duplicate stories is if you didn't get a chance to reply the first time around, just wait a few days and you will get another chance.
Is it my imagination, or are moderation points punishment for posting good stories (since you can't reply to stories you moderate)?
After installing the new PC version and being annoyed by sound problems etc. I decided to get a PS2 (I needed a new DVD player, so I felt I could finally justify getting one:-) ). I got the Harry Potter game for the PS2, and it plays wonderful. I have to agree with the parent post, the PC version looks pretty slapped together compared to the PS2 version. I noticed some of the music and a few of the graphics are the same, but the PS2 version offers waaaaay more gameplay and much better/smoother graphics. My 900mhz PC running windows 2000 should pummel the PS2 hardware-wise, but alas this appears to not be the case. On the upside, I can now look forward to removing windows 2000 and devoting my PC solely to work:-)
...i have no doubt that i will be married and with children before my 12 yr old 486-33 hits the dumpster...
Haven't been married before have you? (Pictures of ex wife seeing my junky old 486 sitting in the corner and exclaiming, "What's that???" flash through my mind) Basically you can kiss anything over 10 years old goodbye (with the possible exception of family heirlooms studded with diamonds).
My favorite was the program that would spew out "I am $40 cheaper at Sears". Which of course brings up what Gateway should really do: sell advertising space on their displays instead. I.E. "Buy me and come visit my porn site at foomeister.com".
I can see spending $200 for a remote if you have a $5,000 setup, but you better have one really, really nice home theater to pay $1,700. Wow for that price I could hire someone to just stand there and change the channel for me. Certainly one of the neighborhood kids would do that for a few bucks a day. On a side note, the remote in the article would sell well if it could switch between two modes quickly: the naughty button mode and then the mode your mom sees when she comes to visit.
Note to self: the more Macs you have, the more likely the chance that you will be surrounded by hot nude chicks. Apple sales to increase dramatically once a government funded study finally proves this.
I think that the reason cats are popular is they survive on minimal care whilst other geek pets would starve to death or otherwise die from neglect. Heck in the proper bug-infested environment a cat can *thrive*
I always thought it would be nice for someone to offer free (or cheap) CDs with the latest alternative browsers available, hopefully making it easier for the average joe to try them out (same goes for openoffice, etc). Hey AOL, you listening out there????
The question is, will Microsoft invent their own "standard" brand of XML. I suppose they could follow the XML spec, but then again I don't hear any pigs flying overhead at the moment.....
It might be time for me to make my epic film starring CowboyNeal, Samzenpus and Hemos in a moving story about Love, Friendship, and Growing Up in the Face of Adversity.
If this is gonna be a porno, I am poking my eyes out now before it is too late.

If we can get one half to sue the other half, we will have something.

Oh God please let this happen, if for no reason than to make Flash sites disappear.

Next up he will post live camara shots of grass growing in his backyard! I can't wait!!!
Well, at least not more than one anyway.
Or how about "Freenix" (Phreenix or Phreonix)?
thousands of home-bound people starve to death as we slashdot the FreshDirect server into oblivion.

I'm surprised this theft hasn't attracted more attention in the mainstream media
At least in America this is probably due to the fact that when someone says "Newton" the first thing we think of is "Fig".
1. First you get the money offerred.
2. THEN you vote as asked (if you want future bribes).
I mean if someone offers you a bribe, are you expecting them to keep their word later as well???

But do they have Tolkien ring network cards in them?
