I can personaly vouch for that, after 6 months of working there I decided it was time to reclaim my soul and stop shoving these shitty ass plans down peoples necks. It's insane the reasons I've heard for them not replacing or fixing someones computer.
Besides Wing Commander this was one of my most loved games. Great story, awsome weapons, and fast action. A real gem, I still whip this out and play it from time to time. Wish I could still find people online to play it with me...
"4. Let a professional make your next playlist.
Having an FM radio lets you put your player on autopilot as you mountain bike, cycle, or rollerblade."
So letting all the 12 to god only knows how old girls pick the craptastic songs of the day by the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, The Simpson of the week, and whatever dude or bimbo is in style is letting a professional make your next playlist? No thanks.
I just purchaed a G3(blue/white) off a school for about 75 bucks. After a new HD, DVD burner, and software (all off ebay) I know find that i'm using it more and more for my photo manipulation, and video editing. So I guess you could say I've made a switch....
"41% of shoppers never send in their rebates." no, it's just that the company finds some little thing like "well part of your UPC code was gray and not the black that is required. Your rebate is now invalid" that people just buy it thinking they will do it but decide to hell with it when they get home.
...Michael Chertoff state later "This is absolutely outrageous! Why they think they need to do something like this is beyond me. We have been monitoring all their phone calls and Internet access for years, had we felt there was something to warrent consern would would have of course overthrown their current government and set up a new one."
I can relate to that, as a X-Best Buy employee (I can't say that proud enough) I would never tell the customers to buy a lexmark product. I was taken to the back room many times and asked why I would do this, since the store made such a profit off these items. I told them I didn't see the point of selling something that would just get returned with in a day or two. How is that "helping the customer find technology to fit his or her lifestyle"? They asked me if I ever thought that maybe them being forced to come back into the store would help generate sales because they would probably buy more equipment. I was almost in shock. Even our Lexmak rep would go on about how crappy this stuff was.....
The bastardization of TechTV wasn't enough? Have they now moved to slashdot? Game reviews after the game has been out for three months, sounds like your typical g4 review....
Mr. Gates later went on to say.... "We at Microsoft fell this is the best way for us to get our spyware...errrr..."monitoring services" on systems with out to much fuss from the end user. Now let me boot up this xp machine back here and let me show you how it works...." *bluescreen pops up*
When the Home PC market was just growing, Windows was to most average people a way to easily interact and understand their computer. Now as you have this generation who has a deeper understanding of computers, there uses, and workings, how do you explain that more and more of this generation is switching over to different flavors of Linux? And if the trend continues Microsoft Will find it's self the under dog in the home and buisness market, what plans are you putting into effect to remedy this?
I need this a GIANT Godzilla costume and a ticket to Japan ASAP!!!

Of putting a scientist incharge of a scientific organazation! Smashing idea, and not something were used to seeing from this administration.
whats a TV capture card again?
Great idea, put the SPOILER IN LARGE PRINT AS THE FIRST THING YOU READ, then the warning in smaller print as the last. Do you happen to write EULA's?

how easy something like this is if you read "The art of deception" By Kevin Mitnick.
I read this and with all the errors in the facts I wonder if these guys work for CBS, or if Dan Rather is doing a new blog or something.
