To reply to myself, having explored a little more. According to the source, it's not an overlapping DIV error or anything like that - there are no links in the HTML. Yoiks!
The front page doesn't show a read more or comments link - I can't enter the story! To get to a story I have to go through the topic page. I'm using slashdot light.
A section for 'retired architecture', so that I could, in 1000 years time, be sure that I could go to a Library with some media I found in grandads grave, rent some juice, and fire up the ol' memories... 'old-format graveyards', and on this issue I wholeheartedly concur
What? Someone wishing to change something does not automatically become a liberal. If the changes they wish to introduce stifle free expression or increase intolerance for others' ideas and behaviours, then this is a conservative change, not liberal.
Not to mention that a good portion of the other *.root-server.net servers are at different physical locations around the world. http://www.root-servers.org/
I agree that the unique online ID nonsense is annoying. However, complaining about playing 10-player LAN games on a 64-player map seems a bit odd - why not just play on a 16-player map?
One person has a great technical idea but no clue on selling, another has great business sense but couldn't rewire a plug. They combine, form a team and get rich. Amen.
To paraphrase you: "There are lots and lots and lots and lots of excellent business people able to sell valuable ideas, concepts and things. If they don't have someone to have an idea, concept or thing then they are not going to make any money.
In addition, the code given by the grandparent would not compile (at least not with a standards-based compiler), as cin is not within scope - a using declaration or directive is required (or direct resolution - as in the original code).
I'm guessing you know this, but the grandparent needs to have a word with their professor;)
That'll stop the command prompt from disappearing at the end. There's probably a checkbox in the IDE somewhere so this is a bit of a fudge, but it's a quick and easy solution:)
They're back. I'll shut up.

Pls fix k thx. :)
Dude, if you see an atomic mushroom, you've probably eaten a few.
Thanks.
Liberal means the almost exact opposite of what they are.
I love the fact you got modded insightful ;)
The Microsoft Certification industry... duh ;)

I agree that the UN shouldn't be involved: ICANN is already international organisation. Who cares if it is based in the U.S. - so is the UN.
The root servers are found in lots of places already: http://www.root-servers.org/
I want a keyboard man!
And I should know.

And with an area smaller than Florida, it feels really rather crowded ;-)
Yuck! Just checked and you're quite right. Thanks for the heads-up :-)

*cough* ;-)
