13 year old me convinced my mom to buy me LSL3 for my birthday
13 year old me was thwarted by the questions initially
13 year old me then asked my dad and mom "random" questions and successfully defeated the age verification lol
plus I think there was some four key combo that let you skip it anyway...how did I figure these things out without the internet? I don't even remember.
You know what? If AOC, Sanders, Warren somehow got what they promised for all us, OUR standard of living would go up. Yes, you too.
If they got the programs they want we would all be worse off because they ignore the actual impact and cost of implementing those ideas. Sure, if magically the cost of those programs was magically taken care of maybe our standard of living would go up..maybe....still would debate that. But with the actual cost any bump up would be quickly followed by a terrible and much longer drop down. The problem people have with their ideas is that they have no basis to work in reality. THEY ARE STUPID PEOPLE MAKING STUPID CLAIMS. End of story.
arrests that had absolutely nothing to do with collusion or anything to do with Trump doing anything wrong. HE doesn't get to choose whether it is published or not. He wants it published. And also, you're an anonymous coward and an idiot all in one.
Well, the article did say Facebook provided a comment saying they realize it's not the best practice and that they were going to end that practice altogether. So they have used it and still probably are using it in some cases.
Why is toilet paper a meaningful use case for you and not anything else you buy regularly? It is equivalent to writing something on your shopping list, but instead of having to remember to do that and then wait till you're actually at the store, you just push a button and it ends up on your doorstep a couple days later. Toilet paper, laundry detergent, toothpaste, trash bags, dish soap, just go through your place of residence and think about all the things you buy repeatedly and it could be used for that. Doesn't mean it was a great method, but if you see it useful for one item, you probably would have found use for it on many items.
I'm so impressed by the ability of someone (many someones?) to waste their time doing this and then someone else to make a story out of it. And for me for making a comment on it. Wooo
With how butthurt he is about it, I'd suggest shoving it somewhere else. It may not be a killer app for foldable screen, but it got us foldable screens. That is worth it.
If content you upload is driving views, which drives ad revenue for Youtube, why shouldn't you get a cut? Doesn't matter what the content is, there is now an expectation that if your content hits a certain level of popularity, you get some of that money.
As long as it wasn't able to be used by google or anyone else prior to this update that made it a virtual assistant, then this isn't all that big a deal. It seems like a bigger deal mostly because privacy hyper-awareness. Now..is there also a camera hiding in there somewhere? That I'd be far more concerned with.
well now i look pretty dumb..for some reason I thought it wasn't spelled the same. I should have checked my own work before jumping to post. I apologize even though I still don't believe you.
A magnet school eh? You seem totally legit. Unless your school is literally for magnets or teaches exclusively about magnets, in which case I apologize for not believing your fake story.
I really think he wants everyone to get rid of their phones. Yes, in today's ultra connected society he admits that if he were to need such access he would rely on the "kindness" of a stranger. But if no body had a cell phone, then there wouldn't be an EXPECTATION that he was able to call ahead if his train was running late. Yes, it's inconvenient for the person waiting for him, but that's how life used to be all the time. People would go hours without knowing exactly where someone was and then they'd show up and life would go on...sometimes on time, sometimes late...sometimes early. So it's not that he disputes the convenience of having a phone available, just that it's not worth it from his point of view.
The use of a second light that inhibits the UV blue light instead of oxygen addresses a couple of the drawbacks of the process used by Carbon3D. It's not a leap, but still useful step.
Yes he does. Because if no one carried them, there wouldn't be the expectation that you were reachable 24/7. Just like the days before cell phones when people would be out of contact almost entirely during travel. Wouldn't be fun to go back to that now, but that would be his dream.
Whatever altruistic motto you want to portray, Google, this doesn't reflect that. You're taking an equally lucrative and shady business and trying to make it sound better by marketing it. This is one of the purest forms of evil. Data gathering and monetization of that data is much more like oil than sunlight, and that includes the bad ways. Oil barons, data barons, both are looking for a way to get and control as much of it as possible and are willing to do just about anything in that pursuit because it is profitable. There are people who have abused sunlight as an renewable energy source in the same way oil has been abused to the detriment of society. If you're overt about it, at least people can make informed decisions about supporting you. If you try to hide it or sugarcoat it like this BS attempt, well, that means you are evil. You don't have to sugarcoat good truth. Anyway, I like what google does with my data, but the fact that they are attempting this form of dishonesty makes me reconsider.
But it's not an animal to start with so none of your follow-up criteria even apply. Fruit has "meat" but it's fruit, not animal. Yes, the kosher rules of how the food is handled and prepared apply, but it is not an animal that must be sub-classified by its physical characteristics. Not as clear cut as you make it sound.
Maybe this article was written early 2018 but only published last week? Or did they throw in the "without Googling" as a genuine attempt to hope that people wouldn't check them on their lies?
Electric cars were considered impractical too. Now technology (and consumer demand) have made it viable. Could be a future where electric converted Aston Martins get a nuclear reactor conversion. Doesn't seem terribly likely, but you never know...

Someone explain that please....
Yes, we must figure out what humanity did 5.3 million years ago to change the course of climate change so that we don't destroy ourselves.

I get it...information & entertainment...but I hate the word. Anyway, that's probably too off-topic for this discussion.
Do they have cloven hooves and chew their own cud?

Is lab-grown meat even an animal? NO, so none of your questions apply.

A robot without specific programming for a situation will just continue on operating like it didn't happen. Duh....
