    Parodies, though, are allowed under current copyright law, and the original owners of the songs / materials do not have to give permission. Even if they deny someone permission to make a parody, that individual still may if he/she wishes.

    this isn't all that much smaller than Mercedes' Smart series, and I'd consider one of those for city/commuter driving

    personally, I think vehicles like these are good for competition - Smart gets about equivalent mpg, but costs 5 times as much, and holds fewer people

    and diesel-electric "hybrid" engines have been in use for nearly a century in the rail industry

    personally, I've long wondered why they went for gas-electric first in the car world when diesel-electric is a known technology

    Far as I know: every review I've read there indicates how the products were obtained, testing methodologies, etc. Plus, the [stated] policy is that advertising is handled by a separate group from the tech reviewers.

    That's illegal in this country: it'd written write across the front of every denomination of Federal Reserve Note: "Good for all debts, public and private".

    The best source of [business] hardware and software reviews has been InfoWorld: They either a) get samples from every manufacturer to compare head-to-head or (horror or horrors!) they actually *buy* one from each company and then test them.

    allowing "poor" people to get a degree is all well and good, but the real issue is whether there is an aptitude for it, and a desire to do it

    I have aptitudes for several fields, but no desire to do several

    if you want to know how the sky *looks* from where you are, taking into account the gook in the sky, gravitational lenses, etc all, I think, would make it more realistic

    Being in California for a few days, I have found 511.org's traffic map to be eminently helpful: 511.org traffic map.

    It's not quite a real-time data source, but it's close enough for route planning on my commute.

    I routinely access my linksys (and, previously, other brands) in firefox, and never had an issue

    what are you doing that makes it not work in FF?
