    You mean like the fact that he voted against network neutrality? Or perhaps the fact that he wants a gold backed monetary system, which I would add is doomed because Americans don't own the gold anymore.

    They all got wiped out by a 1986 Supreme Court ruling, which effectively said the usury laws had to be whatever was highest in whatever state the financial company was in. Suddenly, loads of financial companies opened offices in South Dakota- which has no usury law at all. They can now charge whatever the market can bear- some companies now charge up to 520% interest on loans.

    That's nothing. You forget that the banks are only required to keep 10% reserve... This means if they had $1,000 dollars to start with they can loan out $10,000 dollars... at 9% interest.

    Dude, it's quite easy to tell one from the other. Unless I suppose you have eye problem.
    It's near impossible to tell the difference on a CRT (19", 1280x1024, 32-bit) without zooming in.

    You do realize that 160 megabits = 20 megabytes? If your looking for speed back it up to a secondary disk array, easily 80MByte/s.

    0.5 billion years seems quite quick for a few stars to go super nova, then condense into another star with the required heavy elements in.
    It's possible that two stars could have collided into one another. Doesn't this happen with planets all the time?

    I've liked many aspects of Linux for a long time, but the #1 thing that turns me off it is the userland tools. BSD style UNIX is the only layout worth a dam, give that the BSD layout is more prevalent, then Linux, Sun should go back to it.

    With over 10 years of IT experience under your belt you can probably get by with a 2 year degree from your local community college. Just make sure the degree you choose is applicable to your new profession.

    When they are PIR-controlled, they go off after no movement for about 10 minutes. You can see who is working at night by which bits of the lab have little pools of light.
    Just put a gadget inside your office that moves every few minutes... You boss and coworkers will think you pulled an all nighter.
