time to cancel the phone line... skype + a minimal voip service to get incoming calls can cost less than $20/mo. as opposed to $40+ for a landline... the bells better get fiber to my house before skype fixes their incoming call problem...
but what is rediculous is that taxpayers money (who knows how much) was used to create legislation that had the exact opposite effect it was meant to have... write your member of congress, tell them to go home, less will "get done" and more will be achieved...

competition will spur innovation, so it's good to see more players... now the folks @ google can't rest on their laurels since big money is competing with them...
is there any hope for solaris at this point... they really missed the "windows alternative" marketing angle that linux vendors were using, and adoption of their products has slowed significantly now that linux is a viable alternative to expensive unix machines in the corporate environment
